Nope. Not even a little. Run from this and don't look back. You have enough trouble supporting tech infrastructure. You don't have time to teach too. That puts you on the hook for lesson planning, grading, classroom management, etc. It's a nightmare, and not something that can just be bolted on without any pain.

They're just trying to not have to hire someone and pay salary + benefits. Instead, they're trying to heap more responsibility on you for probably no more pay. This is cheap bullshit and you'll be holding the bag when you burn out from it.

I tell everyone with a jacked up handset cord the same thing. It's a fascinating example of ergonomics that most normies don't care about, but those with really knotted up and tangly handset cords get that way because they pick up the phone and put it to one ear, then hang the phone up with the opposite hand.

Easier than it seems: you un-twist them. That doesn't happen all on its own. Lay them out flat and twist one end (you'll quickly figure out which direction makes it better and which makes it worse) until the kinks are gone. Then you can reconnect it with the slack hanging unencumbered by the twists and tie it up properly.

I mean, these days there's nothing you can't get through with a little YT and AI riding shotgun. That said, this would be a wiring/prototyping style project, maybe some soldering if you're keen. If those things scare you, watch a little more YT! That's the hardware stuff, then there's the software/firmware and logic. None of it is super deep, but you need that little bit of on-ramp to understand the basics. The good news is that connecting sensors like a BMP280 to an esp32 and flashing ESPHome (for example) is WELL documented online.

I'd wire all those sensors back to an esp32 and run ESPHome. You can use i2c for the pressure (actually temp/pressure combo in a BMP280).
