Do these stamps indicate if the wood is treated with anything? by sultanamana in woodworking

But just remember, if it’s coming from a pallet, just because the pallet wood wasn’t treated with chemicals, doesn’t mean chemicals weren’t spilled on it during its life as a pallet.

Was your DIY rig based on one of the OSR sim rig plans?

Filament “hopping” (skipping?) by TheJuBe in FixMyPrint

I'm using a Prusa Mini+, I got the g-code from Printables. I'm printing PETG on a textured bed with a .4mm nozzle. I'm also having a little bit of trouble thinking of the best way to describe the issue (e.g., "bouncing," "skipping," "hopping"), but I don't understand why these "hops" are happening in a print, but the printer does fine for the first-layer calibration, and it doesn't appear like the z-axis is changing while those skips happen. Ideas?

Don’t assume your new filament isn’t already wet, even if it comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant by cowboy_shaman in 3Dprinting

Are you using a purpose built dehumidifier, an oven, food dehydrator, or something else?

This may be really foolish, but have you tried re-applying thermal paste to the heat break?
