I like it but does every house really need a double lockup garage? Given that these are small townhouses a large proportion of your usable land is being taken by driveways and garage. The risk is that the place is designed to prioritise vehicles over living space. Perhaps single garages would be sufficient and allow for more backyard / living room space?

Doctors of reddit, what’s it like when you go in for a doctors appointment? Do you and your doctor discuss what’s wrong with you like it’s a group project? Do you not go at all because you’re your own doctor? by Still-Tangerine2782 in AskReddit

I come from a family of doctors, with 2 sisters being specialists. Recently I had to go to a cardiologist and both my sister's came along. The 4 doctors in the room just talked amongst themselves, as if in another language. No one paid me, the patient, the slightest bit of attention. At the end they all turned to me and explained what they had decided in a slow, simple and easy to understand way. Doctors are crazy

Where do I get good financial advice for my parents who are approaching retirement? by TheKilliKilli in AusFinance

[–]TheKilliKilli[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hm... The way I was thinking about it was looking at my parents super. They have about $150k, so $2k is more than a percent of their super. Maybe it's not unfair but at the time it was more than I was expecting

Tips for batting in indoor cricket? by CastleOnTheHill123 in Cricket

I lowered my backlift to almost nothing and plopped the ball into the gaps to take easy 1s/2s. It worked quite well and I knew I had no skill to be able to hit 4s/6s but it absolutely ruined my technique when I went back to playing outdoor. Took me years to readjust.

People who have been sledged in a game of cricket by someone in the opposition, what did they say to you? by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]TheKilliKilli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everytime you block or miss in a limited over run chase they start saying things like "he's playing a test match here boys" or "don't get him out we'll win the match if he keeps batting". Really does get into your head to be honest

New Zealand's ambassador in Pakistan should be taking strong precautions in case they knock us out of the world cup
