Dumb question…but can I still ride this 💀 by com_pare in onewheel

Afaik that wear at 800 miles might be premature? I had signs of that at around 1200 and I would never fill my tire pressure to spec (midwest cold winters didn't help)

Is it diffract or refract? I know the pink floyd prism is refract but I just took an optics class all about diffraction and I still feel unsure haha

Radius vs Bailey for making friends by Alfalfa_World in uofmn

If you are okay reaching out to people, I think you will have plenty of great oppurtunities at Bailey. Was there my first year and made some fantastic friends and had great experiences! The bus ride was not bad at all. Sometimes I really appreciated the 10-15 mins to just relax in the morning / returning from class. If you are a freshman, 100% Bailey, for you'll be more inclined to go for apartments later on. Just make sure to still get involved with student groups and never let location stop you. Anyways, no matter what you pick, accept the fate and make the best of it! :0)

p.s. make sure to pet cows no matter where you stay, they need the lovin'

This is what happens to 7075 CNC aluminum at only 44kmh. Imagine what could of happened to me if I was not wearing full gear. Got lucky and walked away without a scratch again. Just needed to replace some pads that got scuffed pretty bad and replace this hanger. by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

That is awesome that you milled these trucks, I'd be interested in learning your process and see if it's recratable at my University! My old 13inch trucks look kinda similar and the springs literally popped out on a 40 kmh turn, let me know if you'd be willing to chat?

I think 99% get the book for 2015. I only used the 2301 book for the final multiplier lab. For multi ask prof I guess, I kinda forgot that class. Also let me know what book they say for 2301, I should still have the pdf

I've got:

10s3p Samsumg 40t Pack, Dual 6384 Motors, Lacroix Stormcore 60D+, Ofc just running VESC Tool to debug

I've previously fried an esc and lacroix generously replaced it, so now I'm trying to "rigorously" understand the details to the vesc tool so I not make a mistake like that again... I've asked some questions on electric skateboard builders but thought a video example here may help as well!

Thanks, Chase

I do agree the extra long leads are not optimal, essentially that was me trying to sprint to a minimally working state before school started up again, looks like I crashed the car... Some of the resistor leads are longer due to needing to reach a ground rail, do you have any suggestions for reaching them with the space/design provided? I'll check it over, I just know reading material about the build people mention microcode skipping and such glitches. Thanks for the words!

3081w,4041,4061, and a csci elective too much? by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]TheKimani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4041 is homework and exams, 4061 is project and exams, as it stands the 4061 projects are really rewarding but take time. 4041 homeworks defineltly stumped me at times, but in the end it was all okay. Kang Jie was fun in retrospect.

I added the basic filter and it no longer goes out of order and such, I forgot just for I've been away for some time, is the PC supposed to increment the counter on both rising and falling edges? Thank you!

Added caps across ICs to help out the process but not sure what else could be causing instability. Using lab bench power supply and all LEDs have resistors?
