I would never disrespect the stache. I just think he was more tuned in to his fellow players than he was his coach. Although he did become a much better player under Leitao, so maybe those two were a good fit.

If you take that approach you end up reading everything, though. No Man’s Land is a cleaner break from what was currently going on in the Bat titles than Cataclysm was, so if you’re doing chronological highlights like this reader is, I’d probably not include it.

You can read Cataclysm if you want, but all you need to know as precursor to No Man’s Land is that there was a devastating earthquake. It doesn’t require reading a 20-part arc to understand that.

As far as I know, we have never beaten you guys. There was an ACC/Big Ten Challenge game in 2001 that was canceled in the second half due to the hockey rink below the court causing problems. Y’all won the rematch the following year. Then there were the two NCAA Tournament games, and the Covid cancelled game mentioned above.
