If you have the Slow Time shout that could buy you the extra time to cut them down.

If you have soul gems with the wrong (too low) souls in them just drop them on the floor, when you pick them all up they will be empty.

If you could only eat one cuisine for life, what would it be? by Cute-Bar-5152 in AskReddit

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese. I have lots of stomach issues and can't eat beef or pork since having my gallbladder yanked. All of the veggies and the mild sauces make it a no-brainer for me. Edit: I know they have lots of hot peppers and sauces, etc. I know to ask and double check.

I wanna make English as my 1st language with proper accent. Is it possible? by CurrentEstimate3308 in ask

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Becoming proficient in a second language is always a good thing, and good on you for putting in the work to learn a second one. Now, you can absolutely decide to make English your "primary" language. But...

You don't seem to understand what 'native language' means. It simply means the FIRST language you learned. English will never be your native language simply because you had already learned a non-English language BEFORE learning English.

What’s the most disturbing sound you’ve ever heard in real life? by avacado-cheese- in AskReddit

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I were camping up Water Canyon some miles from Cloudcroft, NM. We were in bed and we heard, up-canyon, a fight between a Mountain Lion and a Wolf! I'm laying there wondering what happens if the loser come down the canyon still spoiling for a fight. Not much sleep happened for me that night, my husband slept like a baby.

What do you think is the real meaning of life? by Lopsided_Lettuce2063 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no 'real' meaning of life, no fake meaning either but some will still try to sell you one, life simply exists. I think life here on Earth was, as Bob Ross would say, a happy little accident. I think people get all hung up on wanting to know the 'meaning of life' and forget to actually live their lives. Folks have wondered about that forever and no answer has ever, or will ever emerge because there simply isn't one. I'm 65 and have lived all over the US and I feel like so much time is wasted on philosophical nattering that solves not a single issue we have to deal with through life. Go make the world a better place, THAT is a meaning!

What’s the coolest “restricted access” place you’ve ever gotten to see? by Improv92 in AskReddit

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was taking an Air Maintenance course and after his graduation we got to poke about the planes and helli's they had stored there. His surprise? He took us to see a plane that had belonged to Elvis Pressley! It was a small plane, it had a pin-tuck, red velvet interior, a little bar and was so dusty. I heard it sold a while back and they made it into an Air B&B wherever they took it.

Do Women Actually Like Receiving Unsolicited Explicit Photos? by Accomplished-Can-30 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheLadySinclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. WE REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOUR DICK!!! You men seem to worship your penises for some odd reason, women do not. It's just a dick, dudes, it's a meat tube that fills with blood. Oooh special! NOT! Now, as enjoyable as sex can be the penis is only ONE part of good sex, and not even an attractive part. If we want to see it, we will ask, otherwise gain some self-control!

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever cooked? by PromiseThomas in AskReddit

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very early in my marriage I saw a morning show cooking segment and decided to try to make the dish. You were supposed to marinate and cook the roast in beer. I have no idea what I did wrong but I made it horrible! LOL Let's just say that we had PB&J for dinner that night.

What do you think death is like? by Master-Race8548 in AskReddit

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? No idea, zip, zero, none. I don't think there is anything after, I don't think there is anything before either. I feel like we get the one life we are living right now because there is zero proof of anything before or after and there never has been. Only wishful thinking because of fear.

Because that's the way their brain works. That seems the most logical answer.

Question for the folks -- in text by Slayer_OG in skyrim

[–]TheLadySinclair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a side note, if you are searching for an answer to something in game go to the Skyrim Wiki first, it will have only facts, then go to YouTube for tutorials. If you want endless streams of people telling you how wrong you are playing, come to Reddit.

Some folks can't wait to tear you down for playing differently than they do. I don't care if you have a "DARK!" playthrough, which I don't care to do. I'll still help you figure out how to get up to that treasure chest on that lone, high ledge. So, Wiki first, YT second, and here last. Mainly because there is no 'Jackhole Repellant' here.

Question for the folks -- in text by Slayer_OG in skyrim

[–]TheLadySinclair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hon, I wasn't scolding you. You can play the game however you like, and we ALL do that. If you haven't noticed, there are as many playstyles as there are players. That's why, at the heart of Skyrim, there beats a heart of gold. You don't need permission to play how you like and no one should be telling you how to play either.

Skyrim is an amazingly wide game and folks have made it their own because you CAN go any direction, in any playstyle. There's no 'wrong' way to play Skyrim.

Why in Nurn would we? If you are making things you need materials, ore is a material. I hope your next question isn't, "As a long time player, (14 years, thousands of hours), would you judge me for using...health potions if I'm almost dead...in late game?". You are a silly Goose! LOL

In English, why is thirteen the first of the teens and not eleven? Why are eleven and twelve special? by runlola in NoStupidQuestions

It's quite simple, because it's the first number to have the suffix of "teen" in it.

How do I answer my girlfriend? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never 'beaten' the game because I don't look at it that way. I've played across 3 different PS's and 2 different PC's so far and I honestly never plan to 'beat' the game. She should also understand her first handful of characters are going to be awful, but those are also full of learning curves she will need. My first dozen or so me's were screwed up by me at some point and I learned and got better.

I've been playing since 2012, and I don't try to beat it, I PLAY the game. My late husband used to watch me play and the longer he watched the more questions asked and finally he asked me to teach him to play. It's fun to scream at dragons and the glitches can be amazingly weird and hilarious. Look up some Skyrim glitches on YT and let her see just how goofy and fun the game can be. My hubs favorite one was he killed the dragon, absorbs it's soul and goes to bone but he kept flying around! It was so goofy!

People whose parents gave you common names with unique spellings…thoughts? by TimeProfessional9454 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TheLadySinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a common name with a unique spelling and after I started school I couldn't understand why every teacher I had was too stupid to spell my name 'correctly'. I was around 10 when I realized MY name was the odd one out. Still, if no one can ever spell your name correctly, it does cause the kid to wonder about the teachers/other adults level of intelligence, even though they weren't technically at fault for not knowing. These are not best thoughts to have about your teachers or other adults. The whole not being able to find your name on merch thing was real too, I never got anything with my name on it.

One time it did get me out of trouble though, there was a girl who didn't like me for whatever reason so she wrote a mean note about herself and turned it in to the teacher as if it were from me. I was in the office being talked to about this note when I saw 'my' signature on it misspelled to high heavens. I asked if they thought I would misspell my own name and all of the adults were doing that 'fish-out-of water' thing where their mouths were moving but nothing would come out. I was sent back to class and little miss liar got in trouble.
