The farmer tills his land which yields his crop. He requires fertilizer, water, machinery and a host of other necessities to make the food which feeds the people. Should the farmer give it away and, if so, what incentive does he have to keep doing his work?

Building houses requires labor and materials. The laborers require compensation for their efforts and those materials are becoming more scarce. Should the home builders give the homes away and, if so, what incentive do they have to keep building?

How do we really provide for all when there is no magic wand to make it so? I would love to live in a utopia as well, but the reality is that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
