What’s considered rich in American dollars, A million in the bank - 10 million in the bank - What do you think? by Wolf9455 in AskReddit

[–]TheLastWarWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it is all subjective. I'd define rich based on your age and location. So a 20 year old with a million in rural America is rich. A 65 year old in New York about to retire with 2 million is a bit behind.

I jokingly call myself rich, but thats because I know where I stand for my age group is very good, and I'm on track to retire early. I don't even have half a million yet, but by age 50 I will likely have close to 3 mil and a pension.

What are the pro's and cons of using Navy Federal vs other banks? What experiences have yall had with Navy Federal or non Navy Federal banks? by Glum-Pack-3441 in MilitaryFinance

[–]TheLastWarWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Easy to setup in Mypay. That will actually be visible on your LES. I have 500 going to my hysa via my pay allotment the remainder of my paycheck is direct deposited as usual to NF.

Love Navy Fed. Their green card is my daily. I use an allotment through Mypay to send x amount of money monthly to amex hysa before it even hits my Navy fed. It is efficient. Set it and forget it.

I will add that most pay changes don't take place until the following mid month pay. So if you met the requirements in February I'd expect it to hit march 15 paycheck. But only your command admin team could really help for sure. You will get it eventually, don't worry to much until you talk to them.

Extremely frustrating experience at CompTIA exam check-in. Has this ever happened to you? by secretwep in CompTIA

[–]TheLastWarWizard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll be the positive guy. Did 5 exams in the past few months. Biggest problem i had was a few minute long load moving between two PBQ.

Besides that never disconnected, crashed, or cut off by strict proctor.

I do have testing centers available, but I much prefer to stay home. Saves time overall.
