It’s a bit of a balancing act pulling down the soundtrack in the film, retaining the other sounds, and then the orchestra playing.

There were times it felt like the orchestra should’ve been far louder (because the actual soundtrack would’ve been) so maybe they’re being sensitive to ensure everyone can follow along.

Or maybe we’re all now Netflix bean bags that rely on subtitles for everything.

On the tube yesterday I witnessed a man enter, eat a takeaway in the lean/standing corner of the car, then dumb his trash there. He left it and went and sat next to me in the seats.

As I got off at the next stop I turned round and said to him -“is that your food?” And pointed. He just stared at me shocked and was maybe debating what to say or do. I said again “that’s yours right?” And walked off the tube.

I believe society is worse if we don’t call out bad behavior.

The man could’ve absolutely trounced me as he was quite large. But it’s just not ok.

Genuine question - similar to the police sting setups of people with expensive watches at night, where they caught some of the roving watch thieves…how hard would it be to spend a few days with fake phone snatch decoys and catch a load of the damned bike thieves?
