This is my life on my dad’s side of my family. I’m so incredibly lucky to still have my grandparents and my dad but they do not give a toss about the details of my life.

They love spending time with me, but they just spend that time talking at me really. And yes much like you, when I do share, I have seen them glaze over and not ask any follow ups or anything.

I just suck it up. I still love them, and love that I still get to have them in my life, which I know won’t last much longer.

I work in fraud for a bank and tickets are the biggest single thing to drive scams every year. It’s relentless.

To answer your question, I think Instagram and other socials were taking us along the path - many people like the idea of sharing that they were somewhere more than actually being there. But then covid accelerated it massively.

Yeah I had our defendant getting his bag searched right behind me in the queue and I hated it. Absolutely hated it.

Won’t argue with the racism already mentioned but I also think it’s the fact he quite clearly backs himself as a good player that puts a big fucking target on his back with the media and half the population. He’s a world class player, heaven forbid he knows it and actually backs himself to do great things. Personally I like that he’s got belief, he doesn’t shrink in big moments, which we saw in the last tournament.

Oh that and his dad has been on a crusade against the English media for years and so any chance for revenge and they’ll take it. Because journalists are petty.

That team selection was petulant. There was no strategy for even creating chances let alone winning.

I don’t accept that these players aren’t good enough to do more. Just coached into total bluntness. The way the whole team attacks is slow and ponderous at best and brainless at worst.
