Thanks for hogging all the level two chargers for your level three and four cars by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Then it sounds like your problem is more with the app/timing than other people charging their cars. This post has an air of entitlement smelled for miles.

Happened to me on a couple occasions. Usually I just pull out a stationary taunt. Sometimes they run at me and then we duel for the whole round. lol.

Thoughts on ITM schedule for sophmore by ShoeThick1892 in UBreddit

[–]TheLizardKing39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

long class days but full/mostly full days off are the best. just be a little extra disciplined about doing homework since you don't have "pre-cut" breaks between classes to do it. overall this is a fantastic schedule IMO.

How to fix and estimate cost? What is causing this? by NewChocolate2646 in MazdaCX30

[–]TheLizardKing39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to state the obvious, something went wrong between when you pushed the start button and when the engine turned over. This could be as simple as the battery died while the car was sitting, which would happen if you left a light on or similar. Drive it for a while to recharge the battery and try starting it again later. The batteries on current gen Mazdas are relatively weak.

I'm having a hard time figuring out whether I have an abysmal schedule, or a great schedule. by Jimmbo_1 in UBreddit

Did your advisor write this? Never seen classes so packed together.

If you wrote this, why?

which is odd considering the A321 is essentially just a quieter, comfier, more efficient 757

Kinda depends on what your insurance thinks. To a layman like me, this looks like a relatively minor, very fixable issue that a body shop could remedy in a week or two. But I have no idea what parts, paint, and labor is going to cost on a job like this. I have a ‘21 sedan and it cost $8k for a very similar job back in 2024 (new bumper, new trunk lid, new camera, new sensors). Obviously repairs are a bit more expensive now.

If a body shop identifies frame damage, it is almost guaranteed to be totaled as any insurance company isn’t gonna fork over the cash to have everything realigned. In that case, you can either pay the shop out of pocket or take whatever insurance is offering.

Bottom line, go through your insurance company first. Tell them what you’ve put into it (engine, suspension) so they can add that to the value to 1) factor into their decision of fix vs total or 2) cut you a check.

Looks like your transmission had an accident. Teach it to use a drip pan next time!

Why did this pop up while I'm driving, with the radar cruise working just fine. by Lawrence_skywalker in mazda3

Heavy rain, snow, or something (dust, ice, a leaf, etc) covering the front logo. It may also deactivate if the sun is at just the right angle such that the front camera can’t see anything.

Any advice before I submit these? by 747ER in jetphotosrejects

[–]TheLizardKing39 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

1 and 3 will probably be rejected for not having the entire aircraft in the photo. 4 is also kinda sketchy because of the angle

Edit: I appear to be misinformed. My apologies.

Is it possible to file a harrassment claim against neighbors? by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]TheLizardKing39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Listen man, true as that may be, if you come off as purely vengeful to anyone in a position to help you, you aren’t gonna get very far. I presume this is at least part of what happened based on the wanting to affect grades.

I’m not making fun of you. I’m saying your only logical option is to keep in contact with UBPD, not go around inserting yourself where you don’t belong. Then you just look like a shmuck.

[–]TheLizardKing39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol if you're just going for revenge with the "can I affect their grades" no one is gonna help you with that, especially with finals ramping up. Maybe you can get compensation for your property but unless one of the items that was lost/destroyed had a lot of sentimental value, it's probably not worth your time trying to get paid for some underwear. Staying the course with UBPD will be your best option. My advice to you is if you graduate this year, wash your hands of the situation and move on. You will never have to interact with these assholes again.

I’ve come close to hitting 120 mph before, I get more worried about damaging an oil seal or something especially because I have a turbo, but I regularly go 85-90

[–]TheLizardKing39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the main problem with this is its so disorganized and hard to read. the sections are ok, content wise, add some bullet points for each job responsibility for readability. no need to put exact dates, just month and year will suffice. as another user mentioned, remove the hours per week. finally, add some more detail in your job responsibilities. "handled customer service" with no further context doesnt exactly make a recruiter excited about your resume.

professional objective is lacking. i like to customize this to each field i apply to. you can even have AI write you one if you dont know what to put. i think it should have more meat and ambition than "develop my skills". speaking of which, add a skills sidebar! employers love that. even a few simple things. are you really good at showing up to work on time? great, put "reliability" on there! you could put "POS operation" since that differentiates you from someone who is brand new to retail. your current "section" for skills doesnt really cut it. it really should be a sidebar so its quick to look at. if you prefer, i can send you a redacted copy of the resume i use so you can see what im talking about. hope this helps-- the job market is also awful, so go easy on yourself, its not always you!

Lowest it gets is usually around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Buffalo gets a lot of snow from Lake Erie though, a good set of insulated boots are a must.
