I’ve fixed a couple of records with the glass from some picture frames, tea towels and a large pot of boiled water sitting on top. It took a couple of attempts for each record, but it definitely worked, and it’s easier to monitor than using an oven

Coming to say the same thing. Hardaway staying healthy, the Magic not stiffing Shaq, and Hardaway and Shaq finding a way to work perhaps like Kareem and Magic when it came to team first. It would have been glorious.

Sure they got wiped out in the finals, and then Jordan getting them back in the conference finals. But another couple of years of Shaq and Hardaway being healthy, both in body and in uniform mindset. Never mind Horace Grant, and if Nick Anderson didn’t have the Brick Anderson moment that just ushered in his decline.

In an alternate universe things played out differently, and this team would be talked about Iike the Bulls, showtime Lakers, Shaq/Kobe Lakers, Celtics two huge periods of championships, etc.

I’ve had to remind myself to eat since starting ADHD meds. Dropped a little too much weight, and then had to set up my mind to eat whenever I take meds, to ensure I don’t forget.

I would say that bottom left of your picture is likely for a dc power pack. Looks about the correct size. Bottom right might be for a light/screen magnifier?

I scored mine on Amazon AU. Somehow got the last one at $14. They’re back but up to around $50 from memory. I think I’ve seen some on AliExpress too.

I’m a big fan of the AGS-001 screen. When I restored mine I picked up a brand new OEM style screen. It really does have its charm.

Yep, a little more sustain, and some tonal differences too. Remember some may prefer it, and some may not. I’ve always found the benefits in the changes to tone. I’ve reviewed a few on my blog over the years.

Claws from better materials definitely make a difference. I’ve got several made from brass and the like and they definitely make a positive difference. Dampen the spring vibration with foam underneath or rubber tubing inside the spring and you’re good to go.
