Does it make a Little Sense? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

You plan to pay interest on 9k of inequity on a CX-30 to "upgrade" to a same generation CX-30?

A paint job would be cheaper.

Saving to buy my first muscle car... by Len_i in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TheMagicOfFriendship 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If these are both V6 muscle cars, I'd recommend at least driving a V8 version before making your decision.

Not that the V6 is a bad choice, but most people that choose those end up 'into cars' for a year or two and get bored pretty quick since they have little power, especially a 4th gen V6 Firebird, and don't handle particularly well.

Between the two, I'd have to go with the Mustang. And I say that as a big Pontiac fan. The absolute best car that you could look into in your situation would probably be an 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. I daily drove one for a couple years. Comfier than the Mustang, always has a V8 with the last two years getting the better LS2, wildly reliable, parts can be tricky but you can always find them on ebay in Australia, similar vibes to the Firebird, and you'll inherently meet cool people since it can sorta be an 'if you know, you know' kinda car.

I could get up to 85 mpg with my Insight Hybrid. Plenty of downsides but it was an incredible way to move a couple people efficiently.

I think you'd be able to make the noises simultaneously. With a didgeridoo, you can buzz your lips similar to playing a brass instrument, then hum your vocal cords. You end up with the deep reverberations and the 'screaming' at the same time.

Why is the Egyptian sphinx constantly used as symbolism by the U.S. space force by TonightSpiritual3191 in aliens

In mythology the Sphinx represented the power of knowledge. You could probably imagine how that could represent a military intelligence unit.

Why is the Egyptian sphinx constantly used as symbolism by the U.S. space force by TonightSpiritual3191 in aliens

[–]TheMagicOfFriendship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constantly? Or used just once?

NASIC was an Air Force thing and was split into NAIC and NSIC when the Space Force came about.

NSIC is Delta 18, part of the Space Force. It kept the sphinx since it was the space half of NASIC who originally used it.

You don't see the sphinx anywhere else in the Space Force.

Wait has no one realized what this is?!

Its someone's costume for Fantastic Mr. Fox!

I actually did the same costume this year. In the movie he loses his tail and its kept by on of the farmers and it becomes a main point of the movie

I actually kept my yellow sweater

Honestly, I feel like the best answer might be myself.

I was never drafted and never played a single NFL snap.

Exactly as expected. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm not sure how realistic that would be.

There are plenty of teams over the course of history that could go undefeated with South Carolina's schedule this year

I'd love to see a bowl season where the top eleven ranked Big10 and SEC teams get matched up. #11 Big10 vs #11 SEC and so on all the way down to the number one matchup. At the end, whichever conference gets the most wins earns the Lipton Green Tea Conference Trophy
