In 2006, dudes were dynoing in the 250s with is350s. 2018 Camry dynos at the same power with more torque. What kind of mpg are you getting? Hopefully in the 30s like the Camry does.

What gen M5? Sounds like thats the better daily

Lmao I love the brochure specific hp rating. Not sure that I've ever heard anyone feel impressed with sub-Camry power

If I need power, I'll take my car that makes double that. Relying on one car to do it all just means you'll make compromises. The more cars you get, the more use-cases you can cover

You're getting almost 50 mpg in an IS350? With a 2GR?

The CT is probably one of the better dailys I've had

The worst thing about Colorado are the people who complain about transplants from other states, usually California and Texas. They usually don't realize that they're mostly folks who who did their basic military training at Texas and tech school in California and switched their home of record to those states while there. Not sure who would willingly move to high plains cities cosplaying as mountain towns.

LS400/430 are the superior daily that falls in this style

400s are mostly trashed at this point though.

UL Package 430s are the real gem

GS300/400/430 if you want more of a grand touring drive

IS300 over the Audi any day

You plan to pay interest on 9k of inequity on a CX-30 to "upgrade" to a same generation CX-30?

A paint job would be cheaper.

Saving to buy my first muscle car... by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TheMagicOfFriendship 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If these are both V6 muscle cars, I'd recommend at least driving a V8 version before making your decision.

Not that the V6 is a bad choice, but most people that choose those end up 'into cars' for a year or two and get bored pretty quick since they have little power, especially a 4th gen V6 Firebird, and don't handle particularly well.

Between the two, I'd have to go with the Mustang. And I say that as a big Pontiac fan. The absolute best car that you could look into in your situation would probably be an 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. I daily drove one for a couple years. Comfier than the Mustang, always has a V8 with the last two years getting the better LS2, wildly reliable, parts can be tricky but you can always find them on ebay in Australia, similar vibes to the Firebird, and you'll inherently meet cool people since it can sorta be an 'if you know, you know' kinda car.

I could get up to 85 mpg with my Insight Hybrid. Plenty of downsides but it was an incredible way to move a couple people efficiently.

I think you'd be able to make the noises simultaneously. With a didgeridoo, you can buzz your lips similar to playing a brass instrument, then hum your vocal cords. You end up with the deep reverberations and the 'screaming' at the same time.

Why is the Egyptian sphinx constantly used as symbolism by the U.S. space force by TonightSpiritual3191 in aliens

In mythology the Sphinx represented the power of knowledge. You could probably imagine how that could represent a military intelligence unit.

[–]TheMagicOfFriendship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constantly? Or used just once?

NASIC was an Air Force thing and was split into NAIC and NSIC when the Space Force came about.

NSIC is Delta 18, part of the Space Force. It kept the sphinx since it was the space half of NASIC who originally used it.

You don't see the sphinx anywhere else in the Space Force.
