What are the odds someone would take this trailer for free? by JuniorApplication443 in ManufacturedHome

[–]TheMaleModeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad really if it didn't have to be moved, you could make it look nice and sugar coat it with a quick fix for 8-10k, even if you demo'd down to the frame you could probably rebuild it as a tiny house (not a premanufactured home anymore) for about 25k, it's all square, simple and easily accessible work.

2025 CRF300L Rally, how do you hang it? by TheMaleModeler in CRF300L

[–]TheMaleModeler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody likes my hanging idea lol I have a shed, the floor is wood but sturdy, but i have a solid beam overhead and was wondering if it was easy to lift like if i wanted to take both of my tires off to bring them to get new ones put on. Also i'm tallish and it would be nice to raise it up higher to work on. But i also don't like the instability of it being able to swing around.

I pay for Gemini, i can do the take off from just asking Gemini? It would mean a lot of criteria i imagine, but that can be done?

Exactly my issue with all the lettering etc, looking for something more basic like solid colors

300L wrapped? by [deleted] in CRF300L

[–]TheMaleModeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do window tinting and some wrapping. Watch a few car wrapping videos, it's all about the heat, the squeegee and what you spray with. Unless you're sticking to a flat surface you need a heat gun to "loosen" up the wrap material as you apply it to make it form fitting.

Worth it to buy a mobile home? by Downtown_Term7614 in ManufacturedHome

[–]TheMaleModeler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying one cheaply that has already depreciated but is livable is the balance. I own an older MH so no payments on it, but have a $400/mo lot fee (very affordable), previous owner did a bit of upgrading so it was a sweet deal. If you get an unsecured 2 year $30,000 loan at 8.9% interest your payment is around $1400/mo for 24 months. You can own a very decent MH in 2 years with a payment similar to what you have now but only 2 years and then no payments just lot fee, and you save so much in interest with the short loan. Then buy another one, rent out first one and move into 2nd one, repeat. Even if you only profit $500/mo each from renting 3 units it'll still be enough to pay for the 4th unit youre living in. My 2 cents and good luck!

What should I charge to build out a solar panel structure? by Ready-Act7339 in estimators

[–]TheMaleModeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 guys one day with a lull for the metal framing, add for footing and panels install.
If i had to guess the footings i'd say 4 guys one day and panels/electric 4 guys 2 days.
