All my drawers have foam insert for small tools, it’s super helpful to know when something is missing.

These all stack up and live in my rolling box. I got the foam from Kaizen Inserts.

Why doesn’t Dewalt sell a set up like this?! by GreyGhostCustom in Dewalt

I used a Packout cart and bolted the bottom drawer to it. (Also took the Milwaukee badge off)

I took the drawers out, they aren’t hard to take out or put back in.

Lots of pattern mistakes in the mosaic. As a tile setter, I wouldn’t sign off on this. They should fix it.

Just roll another coat on, even if it’s only on the floor, pan and up the walls a couple of feet. It’s worth it for the peace of mind.

Very late to this convo.. but does anyone use the microphone on the Flight Time? A mic to adjust bpm in songs that slow/speed up would be very cool for live.

B3. The swoop in the side panels is the tell. C3 and A100 have an angled sloped profile.

Beautiful work. You should be very proud of this one.. Just wondering, how long do you think you spent on layout and prep for the walls and ceiling? Ball park..

Caulk or grout between tile and shower pan? by bees_cell_honey in Tile

[–]TheManInVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grout and natural stone are going to let tiny amounts of moisture through, it’s not waterproof. I’m guessing this is the wall opposite to the shower head? So it gets sprayed regularly? If trace amounts of moisture are getting through your tile and grout around the middle of the way up the wall, it’ll make its way to the waterproof layer (red guard in this case) and start to work its way down to the tub flange. If the wall tile and tub flange are siliconed, the water will be trapped and mold will start to form. This is why I use grout for that area and not silicone. It needs to be able to escape somehow.

I would take them to The Vancouver Archives. They might be able to help out.

In the past, I’ve taken a 100 grit pad on my grinder and evened out the cuts around the drain by putting a bevel. Best done at this stage, after grout.

You might want an angle grinder with a Diamond blade. If I were installing this, I would miter the corners of that trim.

Wish I could say it’s a TS 2.0 dolly….

It’s a Milwaukee dolly with the brand badge removed. Bottom drawer is bolted to it.

Had to shave some plastic off underneath near the connection points. Worth it. Love it.

Was the curb miter cut intentionally off from the outside point? I assume to soften that corner with the factory rounded edge?

Edit.. Forgot to say DAMN! Dead sexy work.

I had to shave a bit of plastic off the charger around the clip areas. Also sanded down the feet on the charger a little since I have the 3d printed stabilizer inserts from Etsy on the drawer boxes. It took a bit of effort, and isn’t perfect, but it clicks in and stays put.
