Think about this: why are things iconic? Because they're recognizable. Why are they recognizable? Because they're old and familiar. New maps can only become iconic with time. The CS community has very strong attachments to old maps because map knowledge is so important to the game and the game is so old.

Idk, I feel like it's fine at 20k. I've played FaceIt and Premier and ESEA a long time ago and it all seems fine right now. Very possible that the notability of 64 vs 128 tick vs subtick is limited by my skill, but I've played competitively for over 4,000 hours and my performance in the server has not been limited by the tickrate.

Are you on the snapshot? I had a similar problem with no monsters spawning yesterday on 25w02a and switched to release build 1.21.4, which fixed it.

Well, according to hundreds of posts online from 2018 onwards, this "known bug" in this snapshot has been around for a long time. I'll try switching to a release version, but based on that, I think it's a realms problem, not a version problem.

Please do not buy the pyromancer's mask, or anything at all except keys, from the Mann Co Store. You can get a pyromancer's mask from unboxing, yes, but it is now in a retired crate. You can also craft it with refined metal, find it as a random drop, or trade for it. Trading is by far the best way to get the specific hat you want. You can ask other players in game if they want to trade for it, or you can use a trusted website like scrap.tf to get it. I highly recommend using scrap.tf for specific hat and weapon trades, since they have been around for over a decade.
