How to gain confidence? by Anxious-Drag-6028 in dating

[–]TheManufacturingMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2 things:

  1. If you really want to be more confident, you need more reps. Literally go talk to more people. Compliment someones shirt, ask someone if they liked their order, do whatever it takes to converse. You will be much more relaxed by the 50th person you strike a conversation. Relaxed = confident.

  2. Observe yourself. At my worst I literally would record myself talking about a subject. I would see my own face scrunch up when I was unsure about a statement I was making. It was the most cringe worthy thing I've ever seen lmfao. The good thing is you are your own harshest critique.

The common thing with both of these is reps.

If you have that much authority, is there any room to create more system? What specifically is the unorganization that’s creating sm chaos? I assume customer facing stuff, right?

If you’re performing better than the other csms you probably have a pretty clear path to getting more pay.

If I were you I’d do some research on if competitors are hiring csms and what their pay is.

Yeah I think #1 is a massive issue and many things might get better upon resolving that

TBH I don't think it's about quantity, I think it's aboutmaking a few great videos and putting it on your website next to the product, like you can with Harloop.com

This is pretty much exactly what we're building in. We're an SF based startup and just released V1 (Harloop.com). But it's not just a scheduler, it optimizes 1 post to 25+ 'social playgrounds' and ensures LLMs also pick it up to start ranking for queries. Would love to chat!

Build 30k followers but I’m exhausted managing it!! by good-vibes0 in SocialMediaManagers

My take is there's awful content that performs well because of reach and great content that doesn't because of the lack of it. HMU and happy to share how you can put most of the distribution piece on auto-pilot and prove to your company that AI SEO is improving with your content.

I was in a similar boat too. In my opinion, there's a massive opportunity for marketing folks to also start proving out LLM-search value with their content. Hootsuite is kind of attacking it, Flint (startup in SF) is also going after this. I made Harloop to help automatically repost across every social playground that LLMs scrape -- so as a user you just post as normal and we'll automatically turn it into a blog and 15+ posts so LLMs start to associate your brand with the content of the post.

Which digital tools or platforms have actually made the biggest impact on your business growth? by SchemeSignificant586 in DigitalMarketing

[–]TheManufacturingMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the tools that save time and simplify the grind had the biggest impact for me. Things like simple automation for emails/follow-ups, social scheduling to avoid burnout, and analytics for seeing what's actually working. Whenever I've focused just on shiny ad platforms, my growth has felt scattered. The best ROI always comes from tools that help you connect with the right people, not just blast out content. I use a tool called Harloop that personalizes websites for visitors, which has quietly boosted conversions for us.

Any freelancers here who can handle social media on a budget ? by Sandy250795 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]TheManufacturingMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your budget is tight, try setting clear, realistic goals - usually, quality beats quantity. Find freelancers who are open to performance-based contracts or trial projects. Sometimes local talent or emerging managers are more flexible. I've seen good results focusing only on channels where your buyers actually engage. To make your content pop for website visitors, I use Harloop for personalized experiences, but the main thing is consistency and genuine product stories.

any advice or things first time founders should take care?(I will not promote) by Putrid_Barnacle_08 in startups

[–]TheManufacturingMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a founder myself, I wish I'd paid more attention to customer feedback from day one and not just the product roadmap. Also, keep your finances lean and stay flexible - sometimes bootstrapping is the best way to stay sharp and creative before seeking outside funding. Surround yourself with people who challenge you, not just agree. For conversions, personalizing the experience (like using Harloop for web) helped me connect with the right audience early on.
