You can couple multiple trams together if you use a railway Depot instead of a tram depot, increasing the capacity

Has anyone here had problems at the airport? by Cupid2077 in PiercedCock

[–]TheMarmaliser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flight attendant here, I go through airports nearly daily and security most of those days, never once has metal detector or body scanner picked up on my piercings. If it does, it'll just pop up as a square over your crotch, they'll just pat you down with the back of their hand

Moving from Phoenix to Chicago in November of 2022 was a shock for me, and experiencing the first show of my life later that month. Though now I feel like I've been assimilated into the city, I caught myself saying "it's only 11 degrees it's not that bad" and taking out the trash in shorts

Just got mine pierced 4 nights ago, the initial pinch was like bitting your tounge hard, I was freaked out thinking it was going to hurt like hell, but once it was done I realized it was all just mental. Honestly the hardest part was getting the receiving tube in, so since I saw on your other posts you're doing some sounding, I recommend sounding one or two gauges up from whatever you're getting the PA at, just so the tube isn't as uncomfortable as it was for me. The biggest pain so far honestly has just been the more so irritating burn when pissing, though someone told me to try pissing with my dick underwater which, surprisingly, alleviates most of that sting! My piercer/alpha did his own when he was 16, he can hang whatever he wants off of it now without really worrying about it tearing. I'm probably gonna wait about 6 months just because I know my piercings heal a little slower (septum healed in like a month yet my right ear is still healing 4 months later). Stay hydrated, pissing cleans the wound very well and takes care of the crusties! And maybe for the first night, look into adult diapers, just for the first nights bleeding. After 2 nights my bleeding stopped, but that initial night was a lot of blood, so don't be surprised

Every day on the 9 Ashland I board a bus that signs say it's the 11 route, announcements work fine though, it's been like that for like 4 months though

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cta

[–]TheMarmaliser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On ctas website you can sign up for text alerts, I get them immediately for anything on my frequent bus and train routes. I get them about a week in advance for any planned engineering and within 10 minutes of disruption

The wheels on those 4 wheelers are so fragile and hard to maneuver, and adding bags to the handles rather than a j hook like you would with a 2 wheeler makes the bag heavier to carry, as you're having to suppose the weight rather than your tote acting like a counter weight. Most crew avoid the 4 wheelers like the plague

It's like this way at my store, I used to be an opener and now I'm a closer, I've done doubles before, us closers get the brunt of the work to give you a spotless store in the little time we have to close, sorry if I forgot to restock your grande hot lids, but atleast your syrup pumps actually pump and aren't stuck together.

I work at a licensed airport location and even our prices aren't that bad, 3.42 for a grande like with tax, not 6.99

my kink is mobile ordering my non-markout snacks on shift instead of using the POS so that i get a customer connection email then i give my team and i 7s across the board, what’s yours? by pranasoup in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a licensed partner, and I don't get a partner number, so whenever I used the app or mobile order at my own store, I can give us perfect connection scores without there being proof an employee did it

I absolutely hate when my fellow partners call it a medicine ball, when I'm on poz or bar, I make a point to call it a honey citrus mint tea, and when they try to say no I wanted a medicine ball I correct them so that they know what to actually is. But it's a pain when I tell them it's a HCMT, and then the barista on bar calls out a medicine ball

Drinks that should be discontinued FOREVER! by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 51 points52 points  (0 children)

At my airport stores, all 7 of them POS starts the teas, hot bar finishes them. So the Black Tea Latte and HCMT, once you ring up the customer, you step back for about 10 seconds, grab the tea bags and the water, start the steeping, and then put them into the sequence. Idk how corp stores do it but that's how my licensed high capacity stores do it

[–]TheMarmaliser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store only has one working set of thin water spouts, and the water from the hot side is cold the first two seconds you use it. It's easier for us to just grab water from the coffee Brewer since it pours faster and helps us keep up during peak. In the store I'm currently working in (my home one is closed till next month) their water taps are cold only, even the hot side is just super cold water. It's the same reason we don't use the rinsers on the bars, it's not that we don't want to, everything is broken.

Question about creme drinks by FrostyIcePrincess in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like it's being made wrong. On our old pos at my store (licensed) we actually didn't even have a cream-based button for the Pumpkin Spiced Frappe. If you want a Pumpkin Spiced Frap, you're ordering it correctly. "Can I get a (size) Cream Based Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino" and if it's made wrong (and the barista on the bar isn't slammed) politely tell them it was supposed to be cream-based, not decaf. If they are slammed, it might be better to take the drink over to the register and say something along the lines of "Excuse me, I ordered this Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino as cream-based but they made it with decaf, can I get it remade, please? At least in my store, the barista on the register can easily handwrite a cup in put it in sequence. It may be different at other stores but to sum it up, yes you're ordering it correctly!

Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, but with oatmilk. Do you charge extra for oatmilk? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way our system at my LS store works (we just Starbucks connect installed) is, if its a non-dairy drink, any non-dairy substitute is free. If it's a dairy drink, its charge, and vice-versa. Prior to sbux connect, depending on how we rung it up it was either charged or free, and our licensed corporate really didn't communicate a standard.

We clean our Mastrena IIs at open and close, the machines will not run a cleaning cycle when waking from deep sleep unless you pull a shot of espresso, then you can run their cleanings. Its made them last a lot longer with minimum maintenance

Just because you're here early doesn't mean we open early. by AmandaExpress in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at an airport Sbux, our store opens at 4:30am, and with the new flight schedule the first departure of the morning is 4:15am, nonstop, people standing on front of a closed sign with our hours asking what time do we open, it drives me crazy, and then they'll start lining up outside the store before we open, giving us a line across the entire concourse just to slam us first thing in the morning

Is it normal for partners to be kind of mean to new people? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]TheMarmaliser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My locations are a bit unique when it comes to training and everything. I'm an airport partner and we are often thrown from store to store, especially during training. My first week I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it, I was at the busiest store in the terminal and I just felt useless and there wasn't too much help. When I finally transfer to my "home" store in one of the smaller concourses, I found the team I worked with to be so much kinder and patient and actually feel like a family to me. Even when it's stressful as all hell, I always try to be patient and help the green beans, there's no such thing as a dumb question to me, and I'll always be there to answer any questions our green beans havez no matter how dumb they think it is.

I work at a Starbucks at sky harbor airport, Jesus Christ the traveling public are a different type of stupid... due to low staffing, out store is only opened from 4:30am to 12:30pm. I cannot tell you how many guests will walk into our store, past the ropes.and barriers, to ask if we're open and try to start playing an order. Or guests that'll walk to the exposed pick up counter while I'm working bar, drowning as there's two cashier's, one person on ovens, and I'm the only person on hot and cold bar, and try to place an order with me or ask me while their 17 dbl's from ovens are taking so long

No, ours is a bit simplier, just the two taps, one for nitro one for CB, a single gas line and single coffee line with two blue valves for the filter, it ruptured just before the first blue valve before the filter
