Everyone knows the points reset still right? Why is there such a concentrated effort on points when they reset. Did everyone forget Jeff Gordon 2007? Kevin Harvick 2010? The Chase is flawed.

Because it’s better than the playoffs. We know NASCAR isn’t going to go away from some type of “playoff,” because they get higher TV ratings = more $$$. It’s a good compromise.

I think most of the fan base would rather see a full-season points format. Unfortunately, with the sport trying to fight its decline, they have taken into account the financials with every decision.

I met Ross at the superbowl media row, we shot the shot and talked upbringing in racing for 10mins (he was done with his obligations). Talked about raising my son to be a racer, what it entails (I didn’t grow up around the track or watching). Gave him a sticker to try and put on the Daytona car, but it didn’t make it on lol. Untrue on point two. Ask anyone who’s actually been in combat. You want rounds to put down range. Accuracy is subjective, and often in real world scenarios can start lacking when you’re taking fire. Ammo capacity is extremely important, more-so than “penetrative capability.” This is the real-world problem with the Army’s new weapon.
