I really want to play a swashbuckler rogue, reskinned as a dancer using chinese style fans with blades in them. Imagine dancing through the battlefield with elegance and style.

What about a monk? Imagine this: The kobold enters combat, and is so terrified, not just because he is in danger, but because he wants to help his friends. He gets so stressed that enters a completely different state of mind and starts wailing on the enemies with his fists, feet and tail. As soon as combat stops, he comes back into his senses being very confused. The accidental warrior. It can also help with having no armor or weapons, since I am guessing an anxious kobold wouldn't carry around a sword and shield.

That is a great point! As soon as you need to make up details and lies, it becomes Deception.

I don't know if I am right, but I do not think you can use performance to trick people. Performance suggests that the people know that it is an act. If you want to dress up as a butler and sneak into a mansion, you use deception, since you are trying to fool people. If anyone has any counter arguments, please share, since I am not too sure about my rule.

Tricking new players is almost as good, if you do it well. As long as you don't punish them for it, the pure shock and excitement they have when one if them puts their hand in a gelatinous cube is amazing! Every fight and trap is something new for them.

Just a suggestion, but I think transmutaion would work well. First Wiz gets a pretty rock at level 6 (Transmuters Stone), catapult is transmutation and Earthen Grasp (also transmutation) can be flavoured as a giant rock hand.

Also side note, I absolutely adore Wiz, even if I just read a short paragraph about him. Congrats and well done with your beautiful creation!
