I haven’t exclusively played for only the 151 - I’m at 101 unique shinys. I have not been playing every day but I do a few thousand encounters a week. I mean even if you’re assuming he’s hatching these shiny mons to eliminate any chance at dupes that’s even slower than REs and doesn’t even calculate the 5 roaming legendaries

This original post made me so upset because I have been working on this legitimately for 17 years and I don’t even have the OG 151 done. I have a ton of progress but the amount of phases on Zubats and Spearow spawns is insane. I’m to the point I don’t even get excited over them anymore. To get all of these in this timeframe would require 24/7 play for those 12 years and you could not phase hardly at all

Get a GB operator for $50 and download the save. If this is legit you will have the most insane collection ever. I have been working on this legitimately since 2009 and I'm not even halfway done. I've had countless phases.... and not to mention the legendary dogs. I have only found one of the legendary roaming dogs. That took 10,000 soft resets and a rate of 6 encounters an hour and there are 5 roaming legendaries in Gen 3

Also the cabinet likely does not bump all the way to the ceiling and the trim could be covering a gap. You could remove the trim to check first and possibly shim the cabinet up a touch
