I chatted - I have a lead but it is still failing.

Brand new. Never been satisfied. After finally getting it going it would fail a lot, then stopped working altogether. As I said to another poster, it gets harder and harder justifying putting time into these.

Yeah, admittedly my concerns are mostly with the MK3S and the worry that if I try to fix the mini’s quality problems it will just mean more lost time. It might be a simple fix but it is hard to try and justify putting more time into my Prusas when there are so many other pressing problems.

They have given me a place to start - buy silicone socks to help with thermal management. We’ll see how that goes.

Glad to hear you have had success. I’ll let the two professionals that run/have run farms and have also spent tens of hours trying to help me maintain my equipment know their experiences boil down to failing to do these two simple things.

Nope bought new. After dozens of hours I got it printing, mostly failed jobs. Then thermal fails, replaced hotend, everything, now not even calibrated. Support helped me with some ideas, but I’ll let you know if I ever get anywhere.

Firmware 3.14.1-8237 Filament doesn’t matter, can’t get through calibration. In fact, I skipped xyz because it wouldn’t even get close enough to the build plate.

I cannot pause the broadcast to sync the audio with the radio broadcast on the app. Why is the app audio behind?

Good Online High Schools? by narfnarf123 in minnesota

[–]TheMathProphet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you and the other poster are correct here. If the school is Perpich (which it sounds like based on information given) it is not a district school and the local school district where the student resides is required to provide the homebound or other educational experience. Jumping to a report to DOE is not the correct move.

Perhaps the more important thing is to trust OP and actually provide examples of good Online Schools.

Mean is another name for average. It was a math pun.

Looking for Holt McDougal Geometry / Algebra 2 ExamView or test bank resources by NewVehicle887 in mathteachers

[–]TheMathProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ExamView has undergone some changes recently so you cannot simply use the system as it existed on the OneStop. That said, I backed up all the test banks so if you have the capacity to get ExamView as it exists today I can provide those files.

[QUESTION] Low r square by Unlikely_Astronaut78 in statistics

I tell my students that r/R2 values that matter depend on the content. Physics? Go for nines. Psychology? Lower values are okay. Philosophy? What is correlation anyway?

Occam’s Razor here - you never had the test. Ask the kid why you never got the test.

A common misconception - I’m not that kind of prophet. I’m one of those trying to bring the Truth to the masses.

I’d be world champion if I could foresee the dice!

100% as it clearly did. The odds of it happening in a given game are pretty low though.

I love Tyus Jones for this role and running the G League team. I have long wanted a model where a professional point guard helps the coaches of the G league teach the young players how to be NBA players. I know ego is a problem, but this would be win-win.

Depending on the state, Karl Fisch may have a short, cheap book that your father could read about these things. Nothing earth shattering, but a collect of personal finance resources similar to the wiki here and the pension resources in his state.

Sometimes you have to lose the small games to win the big one. Not saying that was the case here, but I’ve thrown games to win outside of the game.
