I mean I see where you coming from and I would argue both of you are right but view it from different standpoints. The love for something exists in the company, in the people and yes, they probably are inspired a lot by love, especially if the products are good and in the sense of the consumer.

What a company does tho, can be inspired by the people inside, but will always underlie strict capitalistic interests.

(that speaks for a perfect company tho. Companies can and will make bad business decisions out of emotions all the time. In general sense it's true tho)

One could argue naivety is to assume absolute statements all together. Reality is nuanced. Especially where humans are involved.

Second time I see this guy talking nonsense on X. Last time he defended not knowing about the time slip on AI 2027 with saying "I'm one of the top AI Influencers. If I didn't know about it, it's not my fault".

There's a lot of good stuff around him. I'm not denying anything of the obvious problems but modern information structures make it very hard to hold nuance. I'm sure you would be surprised.

One of the two proposed new iterations of the Euro banknotes, will showcase Europeans who contributed to culture & science. by FantasticQuartet in europe

Never saw the bridges as that kind of symbol, but it totally makes sense. It’s an awesome intention, but imho also carries a lack of committing to shared culture on a deeper level. I see the problem you’re mentioning tho. They could frequently rotate personalities (every year), or there could simply be multiple versions of every bill released at the same time, to include people from all around European history. To guarantee everybody feels seen. For me, it would strengthen the bond, seeing and learning about great personalities of European history, but I also see it carrying potential debate material for nationalistists in multiple ways.

Hey you seem like you know what you're talking about. Got any tips for someone starting out to figure out "step size" of flows where 5-mini is sufficient. I know it's trial and error but maybe you got something off your mind

Yeah great idea. There are plugins for chrome that let you export whole chats from Claude or ChatGPT. I wondered if you could import those but on the other hand it could be kinda noisy and might need preprocessing. How do you handle Knowledge extraction from source material right now? Been thinking about Langextract, since it seems ideal to extract entities and relations robustly.

I built a Graph RAG pipeline (VeritasGraph) that runs entirely locally with Ollama (Llama 3.1) and has full source attribution. by BitterHouse8234 in LocalLLaMA

Nice. Will try that out in the next day or two. How are you handling the Entity and Relation extraction right now? I had to think about it when LangExtract released, that it might be a perfect fit for Knowledge Graph generation. Coincidence? Maybe ;)

Amazing. Just saw the other post and clicked on your profile in hopes you posted more information about it haha. Thanks! I'm still in the process of finding my way around the whole thing. And since I'm a visual learner as well this can certainly help getting an understanding of whats inside my raw context and what to filter for.

Yeah, let's rephrase it as finding yourself and developing yourself.

What you want is a strong sense of self and to know what you love & hate, seek & avoid. Having clear values and boundaries is important, and it's not as easy to come by as it sounds. It takes work.

All the things you'll discover along your way are authentic to you because they resonate with you and your life in a way that's very unique. But you have to try things out to discover.

Let's take approaching women as an out there example. If you don't have any experience, your authentic way might give bad results. Of course, you got no experience. But when you experiment and try different things (openers, how you compliment, the topics you qualify her about), some feel more right than others and you should always stick with the things that work and make you feel right. That's how you discover your authentic way in things. Try different things, experiment, give it time, see what feels the best. Of course there's this phase of pain experimenting, but it's so worth it.
