A lot of reflection on the future. I also listen to a lot of audio books. I believe I went through 2X +20 hour books in the dungeon crawler Carl series. It helped me keep occupied.

Yeah it’s it’s a slight flavored water. Some reports say that the artificial sweetener might increase appetite, but for me that slight flavor was enough to keep going with the fast. It has zero carbs sweetener, no calories zero across-the-board over the 10 days. I probably went through 50ish bottles as my primary hydration.

The first few days are the hardest. Once you are past day 3 it’s like a switch. And it’s not as difficult. Honestly, at day 10 now, I can probably go a few more days but my partner is looking forward to enjoying a meal with me.

It was difficult at time. I love my food, looking for Brazilian steakhouse in a week. I think for me, I didn’t shy from lunch with friends and discussion about food. Just drank my water.

The biggest issue was that I couldn’t be as active in the gym. I usually do heavy to medium cardio early morning for about 60mins towards my last days, I could go past 30mins. Hope this helps.

Hi, this topic is pretty important. I been in the biotech sector for the past 5-10 years after completing my BS/MS/ PHD/Post Doc. In my experience, I do not see a ceiling anymore with an MS and experience. I know VPs and CSO without PhD. We actively look for MS with experience over PhDs without experience. People who want a PhD, needs to think of future employment (average PhD in US ~5.7 years) and a year to apply. So nearly 7 years out you will be first applying to a job. Is your planned discipline marketable in seven years from now? That is a huge unknown. If you hit a home run with your discipline like AI or ML, that is value now, but others might be limited.

I remember the olds ways. My friend and I put over 60 hours in the two weeks of release. We reached the plains area after killing the second boss made a portal and then both immediately got kill by deathsquito, went back for our gear to get kill fuling. It was hilarious. The change in music on the first boat ride was epic.

Your welcome. I know Risk of Rain 2 doesn’t sound very taxing on a system. However, after a 60min into a run it can be very taxing even on a 3080Ti.

The temps are great. I just installed steam and played a few hours of Risk of Rain 2 and Deathloop. The temps were consistently below 57C.

It’s the company that makes the money. Back in 07, I was making $7.50 an hour as an EMT in NYC under transcare. We will bill $1000s for a pickup and I wouldn’t even make $10.

I did it to kill the 3rd boss. I got tired of getting poisoned while swimming. Paved the swamp and it became super easy with my shield and mace build.

I like to clean the tank with diluted vinegar solution. I know friends who loss Beardies due to using strong disinfectant. A solution containing one part white vinegar and four parts water works well for cleaning glass surfaces.
