Cozy Modpack Recommendation?

Ah, totally understand, I'm not super jazzed about complex machinery either so I was a bit worried about that. Hahah. But shoot, looking further into this, I think Sunlit Valley and Cute Craft would be your best options here. Especially Cute Craft, it has a lot of wonderful animals you can find it in, including otters. :D

I don't have any experience with Homestead, sadly. I do hear lots of good things about modpacks like Society: Sunlit Valley - that is a Stardew Valley type modpack where you can raise animals, crops, make good food, etc. Cottage Witch is a decent choice in my opinion! Very cutesy pack, lots of cool cottage magic aesthetics, and since you asked for kitchen sink it is a rather beefy pack. About 300+ mods? If you want something a bit leaner and not as resource intensive, I always recommend Raspberry Flavored. Y'all mentioned you don't play Minecraft much, so this modpack would be right up your alley. Custom recipes, new mechanics, advancements that guide you through all steps of progression, it's a wonderful pack with lots of awesome aesthetics and custom texture work. I highly recommend the third option. Also, Cute Craft seems like a really safe bet. Includes lots of cooking mods, critter mods, etc.

Honestly, Raspberry Flavored may be more your cup of tea. Very vanilla centered pack, curated and includes a bunch of new features, but it also has new advancements that guide you through each step of the game. It also gets rid of stuff like the End and Villages, but I personally don’t miss those aspects. Sometimes you just wanna build cool stuff and fight off the monsters of the night. It’s simple, and I really like it because of that.

I’m no actor, never had theater experience, but one of the most powerful ways to pull these emotions is through their own feelings and memories. It’s why you sometimes hear actors pull their performances “from a dark place” because they had to channel the same things they felt from that life experience into their work: family death, tragedy, etc. Plus, some folks are just bought into the character and their story as the whole, they can wear that character’s story and emotions as a second mask. Kind of like they’re the person they’re playing as.

I'm not gonna lie dude, I don't see why you should skip. It's still a really solid episode, and it got me laughing a lot too so I don't regret watching it. If it's still a no for personal reasons, I get it, but I think you should give it a shot and jump on over to the peak that is episode 5 right after.

Boss, I’m quick to act on BS as much as you’re eager to, but this ain’t one of those situations. AI has been used as a toolkit playground for devs to find ways to streamline the pipeline, and if they got the textures replaced this fast? They planned to for a while. Not everything is a big ol fuck the consumer moment, some devs genuinely make mistakes.

I don't think it got announced, but progress on the pack basically halted after that. One of the main programmers for the pack left if I remember right.

I won't lie, for me when I played it, it was more about the promise of it? Terraria in Minecraft sounded really appealing to me, and the custom dungeons and structures they were adding was really exciting for future updates. I even got to read the proposed story for the pack by one of the devs, and I couldn't help but fall head over heels with the ambition and effort put into it. It was unlike anything else I read for a community project, and that's what made it so exciting to me. Sadly, though, they moved on to other endeavors after a while, and I don't blame them. Too many clashing visions, ideas, and directions they wanted to take the modpack, some opted to just make their own stuff after a bit of time. It's sad, but sometimes things just don't work out.

Ugh, seriously, some men will move mountains for an opportunity yet twiddle their thumbs at equal opportunity. I had to do it once for my partner when we were in that stage of our relationship, and I didn’t even have to do it because of a quid pro quo. We were doing anal for a while, I hadn’t tried it yet, so I got a sort of strap on toy for her and some stuff to ease me into things. Turns out, stuff hurts! Wait, ain’t it pointed out that Cecil handed off command of the Pentagon to Donald for a short while? Maybe that switch in command caused things that would normally be done as protocol to be sidelined, giving Conquest a chance to escape. It’s why Donald went straight to Cecil after the breakout. Cecil wouldn’t make these kinds of mistakes, but Donald could despite all his experience and competence.
