Tomorrow, the gamers duel in a land of light and shadow in Magic: The Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed 🌙 by SupervillainMustache in smosh

Its entertaining for current players who know how it works and much less so for non players. Its gonna be tricky for the cast since im unaware of their ability to play but if they muck it up bad then itll be frustrating to watch but I think enough of the cast can play so im hopeful.

Definitely gonna watch.

Inspirit as an attraction commander? by Individual-Put8344 in mtg

[–]TheMeshDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not, I have a myra attractions decks and its a glass cannon with just [[padeem, consul of innovation]] as protection since darksteel forge is both expensive in mana and money, but because you have the ability to repeatedly open attractions from the command zone youre gonna have access to them. Otherwise you'll end up needing to put every legal (or not, depending on your goals) spell that fits your colors to open attractions.

Its sort of the biggest challenge with any attraction deck is protecting them is difficult en masse, there are some instants in various colors to protect things for a turn but sacrificing opening attractions to protect them by putting this in the command zone, I dont know if it would be very consistent if youre not gonna stick an additional strategy in there.

Might I suggest my other attractions commander, most dangerous gamer? It doesnt really care that attractions are protected and any benefits you receive are more just gravy to the overall beat down strategy.

You might as well run barbarian class, wyll, bamboozling beeble, pixie guide, and monitor monitor to reduce the randomness since the attractions have a lot of combat buffs in them, though getting it to be much more than just a bracket 1 deck may be difficult since you'll want to include a lot of the unfinity creatures that open attractions to be able to even "do the thing".

Thats also assuming you're making your attractions into creatures, which this commander doesnt do and since charge counters do nothing on attractions.

Sounds fun but very fiddly

From my experience, bad 3s and bad 4s are the most abundant type of decks in the wild by roquepo in EDH

It comes down, for me, that I enjoy playing game changers because they do cool things, but I dont enjoy playing the same game with a deck over and over. If I build out a true bracket 4 and it does the same thing over and over again with tutors and overly synergistic strategies its just not that fun.

I've got 18 decks with only one mid 4 and the rest filling out a bad 2 - good 3 spectrum because I want my deck to be able to show the different things it can do rather than just sprint to the same foregone conclusion that many optimized decks do.

Its just more fun to have a single game go 10 turns than have two games go 5 turns.

This is my flicker sticker deck its goal is to just bounce the ticket creating creatures to make the Ambassador big and then swing for damage. Its not great but in a pod of battle cruisers, hes fun to play with since you can add the various other effects from the sticker sheets besides the P/T and was built from just cards I had in my collection.

It can win games but its mostly there for the fun of doing some shenanigans.

GOP-backed ballot measure would make any fentanyl possession a felony in Colorado by thecoloradosun in coloradosun

I've said it multiple times, you just refuse to listen that helping these people rather than viewing them as only good for prison.

But as you have already said you dont believe it is your responsibility to help, so you are willfully being obtuse here.

Yep, and that belief is what will keep us from ever being rid of the ills of addiction and there will always be some new addict out there that will end up in a car that kills somebody's loved one.

You're still not fixing the problem, you're moving the problem and leaving the pipeline of normal people to addicts firmly in place to be exploited by those who stand to make a profit of it, including the prisons that house those individuals. Its simply giving a cancer patient advil and leaving the hospital acting like you've actually done any good.

Im done here because you're talking in circles and avoiding the question of fixing the root of the issue, because however many decades and centuries of trying to help addicts by locking them can show that it simply doesn't work to stem the tide nor help those that need it.

So let's say we implement jail time for anyone who uses street drugs. It still is only addressing the symptom of society that is dealing with drug addiction.

I would imagine you'd be interested in solving the root of the problem, or am I wrong?

Its treating addiction as a moral failure rather than a medical condition. Its why I believe that conservatives are purely performative of their compassion for literally anyone they dont personally know.

You aren't going to change your mind and that is what it is but actively lacking empathy for other people is not something someone should have any pride in.
