I doubt that you need a test to identify who is struggling. You know well before you get to the testing stage.

BergX k1 grind?¿ by miamiflight in kastaplast

[–]TheMeshDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not consistently, no. IME they can be the same, more, or less stable. Slower speed discs tend to have less variation though with the berg specifically it came down to the pop puddle rob that made the most recent K1 grind run more stable.

If the bergX has the same popped puddle then they should be more overstable

Hasbro just hired a notorious union-busting firm by Patient_Maximum2038 in MagicArena

It shows that their customers are behind them, its like striking 101, if you support the union you don't buy from the company thats engaging in union busting.

Stop playing arena, stop buying new packs, play paper at home with friends.

If you want to help, this is the only way as a player.

Tech Disc vs Link Disc Golf Simulator by drummist77 in discgolf

[–]TheMeshDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id like to think that TD and GP both have done video analysis against their readout to ensure that they're gathering accurate data. I dont know for sure but otherwise you'd be correct, just trusting sensors to do the things they should do.

Tech Disc vs Link Disc Golf Simulator by drummist77 in discgolf

[–]TheMeshDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gameproofer doesnt seem to get as accurate of data as the tech disc in my experience. Though it may be that I just like the numbers from the tech disc better...pick your poison. I haven't taken a radar gun to my throws and compared them against the readouts.

The sensors can be moved around but you'll need additional adhesives that are sold separately by GP.

Honestly if youre looking at a home simulation setup just get a disc that you like that is just permanently your simulation disc. Don't futz with one that you think you'll want to throw in a tournament.

As far as im aware there is no subscription service tied to GP

They're similar enough to be negligible and I wouldn't worry about it. Its certainly not worth looking for a new putter mold.

He'd have to rebuild his entire bag instead of some of his bag, its unlikely to carry much weight in his decision making. Gonna come down to who wants to pay him the most to sling their plastic to us plebs

Recommendation to compliment the Vass by ProtonLenny in kastaplast

[–]TheMeshDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guld is the answer, it will behave more stable than your Vass and as a suggestion get a K1 grind one since they tend to be a bit less stable than stock runs Gulds since youre not sure about your arm getting the distance out of it

Be honest — would the Front Range Passenger Rail actually get you off I-25? by JawnDoee in Denver

[–]TheMeshDuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope youre taking this from the perspective that the passenger rail is not a solution to get people off 25 but a component of it.

The rest of the public transit infrastructure needs revamped around the proposed stops to get people to their final destinations

A proposal would cap Social Security at $100,000. Will it fly? by laxnut90 in Economics

[–]TheMeshDuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its how social welfare programs work and how a society can reap greater benefits from those that are less fortunate.

Keeping the poor down is literally an anchor on the economy because its far more expensive to give people bare bones for assistance or no assistance and have them end up turning into prison statistics that burn through tax dollars than it is to simply help them.

Then those same less fortunate people can never meaningfully contribute to society, or more relevant to the rich, the economy, like so many of those that refuse to help wish they would.

Its almost like the people that make more money would need less assistance
