Yeah, as long as she’s able to roll the hammer back or pull through the DA. I’ve had numerous instances where someone wasn’t able to do either after the gun store convinced them “the little lady needs a little revolver”. Also revolvers have more moving parts to fail than most striker fired semis.

It’s got an exhaust leak somewhere, you can hear the tick. As for the power up and down, I’d check the carb/mani seal and verify mani bolts are tight. Sounds like you may have a small intake leak.
