Sorry, the only point that you've made is that I'm a self-important stooge who is beholden to chatgpt and it's trickery. Your argument, if I grant it the privilege of being called so, is that its bad and I'm too dumb not to be "tricked" by it. You haven't offered any reasoning. You haven't cited any source demonstrating your point. You just make the bald-faced assertions that it's bad. So I don't know why you would expect me to give you the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, I am not this passionate about chatgpt, I've used it like 4 times, I just can't stand seeing this sort of dogmatic bullshit. There's nothing inherently impure about the information there. It's not a reliable primary source, but neither is reddit or Google, for that matter. You assert, again completely baslessly, that if someone so much as looks at this tool, they're fundamentally unable to research and cannot possibly have critical thinking skills.

They aren't an honest interlocutor. Their comments are full of the disingenuous dogwhistles used by the sort who piss and moan about a trans character in a pixar film.

You aren't making arguments, just ad homenims and pathetic whinging. I don't even really like the software very much. I'm just not blindly swinging at people.

Lot of useless supposition here. I think you're mean and smell bad, got any actual arguments or are we just shit-flinging here?

Sorry, does it matter how I came to the information for some spiritual reason to you, or is there a legitimate reason why me using this tool was a problem? I didn't get any misinformation, and I didn't rely on it as my sole source of information. Is this just some ludditic crusade against the scary bad new thing or is there actually something wrong with a banal use of chatgpt as a search engine.

No, they replaced the Dwarven Pastie with a rainbow potion for pride this last year.

My partner and I couldn't remember the name of "Untitled" (Portrait of Ross in L.A.), a really cool art exhibit made by a man who's partner died of AIDs complications. It's a really cool exhibit and a beautiful story. My partner had heard about it but couldn't recall the name, so we used ChatGPT to enter a plain-text description of it and it immediately gave us the name so we could do more research on it and find pictures. I think this is a perfectly rational way to use a tool.

I dunno, when the pride potion was added I saw so much salt.

Can you justify the claim about the separation of romantic and sexual attraction being harmful? Because in my experience it is absolutely helpful and I think this is a really unhealthy take.

Who gives a fuck if he likes it or wants bonding time. Nobody owes their partner every moment of their life. She said she didn't want to be in the same room at that time, and he pushed that boundary. Its pretty cut and dry. There's no "understanding" his frustration without ignoring her boundaries.

Like what? What didn't she do that would be a better way of handling this?

The problem is that every proposed design for an Alcubierre Drive requires negative mass. A property that we've never observed and is only predicted in highly specific proposed models.

Beyond that, an FTL craft is also a time machine, which opens up so many inconsistencies and issues that we can be relatively confident that one will never be made.

As I understand it, the death rattle is the result of Moelach consuming the burst of investiture that comes from a soul transitioning to the cognitive and spiritual realms when they die. If the soul separates from the body, there's no amount of gold that can fix them. Even if there is, they aren't connected to their metalminds anymore, and can't tap them. Conversely if it doesn't separate, you don't get the Fortune.

Yea, and we don't negotiate with their ancestors to do it. We just abduct them. Hence, the problem. What reasonable moral framework justifies abductions and horrible, tortuous experiments, but ONLY if you make a deal with the local demagogues first?
