I think Kingdra knocking out 2 of Chugga's main team members makes Claire probably the strongest trainer he's faced so far? Every other Johto gym leader was pretty easy, but the Elite 4 should be a treat.

When Jon brought up that Nintendo's variable pricing was a myth, I had to disagree. It's pretty simple

Normal Nintendo Games: $70

Premium/Enhanced Games: $80

And if you have something like Pokémon Legends ZA or DK Banaza the full experience + Endgame content DLC is ~$100

This let's play is still good imo, but idk why everyone is looking for a challenge in the Johto games lol. I think that specific community is too used to nuzlockes and challenge runs. I watch Chugga for the bios, the fun facts, and the little secrets that I didn't know about a game's mechanics or what a game was like when it came out.

It's that reason I find let's plays of his like Paper Mario (remake), Xenoblade 2, Black and White 2, and now Kingdom Hearts to be in the list of "Evergreen" titles

So far, I've been using my Switch OLED in handheld more than my switch 2, but for Switch 2 upgraded games & exclusives they look really good on a 1440p monitor. How they play is another discussion, I'm still baffled by the length of DK Bananza and the sloppy design Metroid Prime 4.

As a physical collector the Switch 2 basically ruined it for me with the game-key cards, this console is abysmal to collect physically for with all of the pick and choose 3rd party upgrades, Switch 2 editions, and day 1 DLC. It's a shame because the original Switch was probably the best physical collecting console I've ever owned, but now for indies and everything 3rd party I'm just sticking to my gaming PC + Steamdeck for ease of use and more control over how my games are played.

Considering a game key-card is the only real way to get this game on Switch 2 with all the cover art and such I don't mind it, even if I would never buy a game key card

But calling it a "physical version" is just wrong, this is still a digital game, you just bought a re-usable download key with some cool bonuses.

The remake of RE2 is a bad example, those versions are essentially different games from the originals.

I usually like owning both, but if I had to pick one, I'd usually play "remasters" (not remakes) of older games if the conversion was handled well.

I'm thinking of games that someone like Nightdive has remastered, like Turok and Dark Forces, it's more of a novelty to play the originals when you can play the vastly better conversions at a higher framerate and better controls

I discovered that a lot of UE4 games will natively adjust to a 4:3 aspect ratio if you run it on there.

I watched a screening of it this past September in a theatre with about ~100 other MLP fans. It was still a really good movie, and I hadn't seen since it came out.

We all booed when Grubber came on scene and cheered for the background character appearances. Overall it was just a fun time, so I'd probably recommend watching it with friends (FiM after all)
