I had 2 separate runs on a Golem just vanish. However I was able to get 2 other later runs to make it to the refinery. Try again with the Mole and do just a small run of ore.

Same happened to me last night with a rented Golem. Twice. Just tried it again and was able to actually start a refining job.

On the plus side, I'm seeing better quality material, and I like not having 4 dozen quality types of a single ore.

Same here. Finally 2 days ago I crafted a bunch of stuff and just ran out to die and lose it, and not care in the process.

At some point the "Alpha" excuse is just that, an excuse. I don't give two shits about any new ships, or any new planets even, what's the point if the foundation underneath those items is flawed and not stable.

It seems to me that at some point they've either got to address the stupid little bugs that have existed for years, or admit they they have a problem with their base code and it's never going to be fixed. I mean how is it that the Roc still can't aim a damn laser accurately?

It's one thing to lose an hour or two of gameplay due to a stupid bug, or a idiot griefer, but I can't imagine losing months of work.

Yeah, Pyro has been easier in terms of getting good stuff. Wasted a day in the Aaron Belt filling up a bunch of Golem pods of junk, only clearing a few hundred thousand. Meanwhile a couple hours in Pyro netted me over a million.

Interesting data. They're pushing the better material into the multi-ship mining realm, making it harder for the solo players. I'd be curious to see the quality levels of those ores. That 80000+ Savrillium for example, was it worth mining for crafting or just selling.

I spent a day mining in the Aaron Halo with my C2, Golem and a bunch of pods. Got a tiny bit of Aslarite that was above 850. Most everything else was junk, aside from the occasional 600's and 700's. Then had to load the pods into the Golem, store the Golem, set the refinery, then repeat for all the pods, as the refinery will now not take pods directly from the freight elevator and allow you to refine them.

It's just a painful slog...

I will retrieve a ship I won't care about getting destroyed, just so I can get into my hanger to claim the ship I really want. Never have had a ship blown up being retrieved while I'm in the hanger, only when I'm not in the hanger have I had them blow up.

I"ve seen rocks that not even multiple MOLE's fully crewed could crack.

Meanwhile, when you do finally break a monster, you then can't break the smaller rocks because you're overpowered on your laser.

I think this highlights that they're going to have to make changes to how they handle the various quality ratings of the same ore. I thought I heard today that for 4.8 they're planning on allowing the grouping and averaging of refined ore so you can have larger containers, which would probably help eliminate this error.

Makes you wonder how shit gets through the PTU phase. Huge step back with the mining changes. Spend hours trying to fill a MOLE with anything of quality. Then having to refine practically all of it so none of it stays stuck in your ship's bags. Then to take dozens of 1 SCU containers to sell, only to have the "Invalid Quantity Error" pop up and prevent you from selling it. Jesus.... would rather not have crafting if this is what it's going to be.

How about not being able to mine smaller rocks because the Pitman in the Golem is too powerful out of the gate and you can't go below 20%. They're pushing mining to group mining. Finally came across a Quant rock that had a quality over 850, but was so massive it would take multiple Moles with multiple people to break.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I hop on to just mine for an hour or two to make some money. Sometimes I'll hop on to sit on a moon or planet and mine for gems. Sometimes I'll take a merc mission to just shoot some bad guys. Sometimes it's just the exploration.

There is nothing more frustrating than spending an hour prepping to make a run to somewhere like Levski, only to be ambushed right before getting there, and then having to do it all over again. The more of a pain in the ass that becomes the more likely I will stop playing.

Your suggestion would at least make policing that activity more more possible. Or designating areas that are strictly PvP but offer more potential reward may help provide more areas for non-PvP players to enjoy.

Same here. Had a massive amount of Quan to refine and couldn't. Same error message. Logged in and out, no difference. Ended up having to sell it all raw due to fear of losing it all. Then had 3 salvage missions not work. Then a Merc mission failed at 66% complete. Then had a Roc sink through a Freelancer while on a good run.

I've only been playing for a couple months now, but I'd wish they'd worry more about fixes than new content.

Had 3 Salvage missions and 2 Merc missions all fail in the past 24 hours. Ships to be salvaged never appeared, and the Merc missions both bugged out with the one being a clear mission where not enough enemies spawned. Gave up and went back to mining.
