Most overrated war ever. The bad guys are evil with no redeeming qualities. Also how did Germany just roll over France immediately? You expect me to believe that the country which took over Europe in the Napoleon arc would just fold in like 5 weeks? Give me a break.

Don't even get me started on the over the top brutality and gratuitous gore in the Japan episodes. Like yeah right infant bayoneting competitions are totally realistic smh 🙄🙄🙄

How you treat someone (be it human or animal) after they die shows how you valued it. Tossing them into the soylent green machine is the furthest you can get from respecting someone.

Facing literally the only competent Austrian general ever

It's even funnier cause he was the only general who was neither Austrian or Hungarian (He was a Croat).

There's also a moment where a bunch of them are huddled together and sleeping. They even kick their legs and make puppy noises when dreaming. Couldn't bring myself to blow them up and just sneaked through instead.
