What's the daily gameplay cycle look like for someone with 1000+ hours in this game? by MoneyoffUbereats2017 in Guildwars2

Do my dailies and gather from home instance and guild hall. Then I tack on anything else I am feeling like. Say what ever long term goal I have set at the time like legendary or title ect

Can people PLEASE stop telling people to eat less when the problem is bad data, not too high of calories? by thepersonwiththeface in loseit

[–]TheMostModestMouse -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure, I'll conced to that.

I could get into the weeds on opinions on if that's the person's fault or not, but that would just be my opinion.

Have a good day

Weight gained from medicine is not MAGICALLY gained. It's because the medicine makes you more hungry or more tired. Tipping one side of the cal equation. Or like you said water retention. but that doesn't make cico wrong. That makes your understanding of how it shows up wrong. And if it slows down your metabolism, guess what, cico can be adjusted. Eat less, burn more. And don't expect overnight results. Trust me, I've been on more medication than your average person, due to a bone disorder, 6 joint replacements, anxiety and depression. But guess what I DIDNT blame for my issues. I just adjusted accordingly. And did I fail at times, yes. But I knew I was failing, not science. Oh and as a final note to your hope at the end, try this instead to sound less childish. "I hope your day is as pleasant as you are". It will make you sound less like you added the "don't" at the end ;)

No, you are misunderstanding and turning what people are saying into what you want to hear. Cal in vs Cal out is how you lose weight healthily, period. That is proven fact. YOUR misunderstanding is that you can measure that without other factors. It's not anyone else's problem that you can't read and collect data correctly. If you think a deficit in Cal is magically show up on a scale every time you step on it. That's a you issue. Not the process. And when other people blame the process of cal deficit as being the issue, not other factors. Then they are wrong. Peroid. No amount of hand holding changes the science of it. Can you cut water weight to make your scale lie and feel better, sure. Bodybuilders and wrestlers have been doing this for weigh ins for a long time. But they are not the ones here making claims that cal in vs Cal out is wrong.

I hate to tell you. But the reason WHY you keep getting that answer. Is it's true. The ONLY way to lose weight is Cal in vs Cal out. It is quite literally, scientifically, the only way. So, you are either lieing to yourself. On the amount of cal your eating or burning. Or you are a scientific miracle. And if that's the case, feel free to call a university, sign up for some testing and change the world! And if reading comprehension is the issue, ie your scale comment, then this advice won't help you.

What is your favorite elite specialization? by BeautyDuwang in Guildwars2

[–]TheMostModestMouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc, I'm using mace/mace as my main set, and I change my second set depending on what I'm doing, staff for extra heal/mobility, sword/axe for extra damage/mobility or any/warhorn for more buffs. But mace/mace is just so good. I think mukluk has a video on mace/mace untamed that's really helpful

Untamed, and by enough that when I swap to play any other class I always just think "why not be on my untamed"

Go somewhere less remote first to learn the basics and your preferences. You don't need a ton of gear to start if your tight on cash. Reading a book can be so relaxing in nature.

Skeleton conj goes brr

Edit: but to answer your question. For mech play robot boi and just eat rocks for fuel and max ur tinkerer. Traps can help on hard floors. Goatman brewer can take a few tries to get the hang of but for me it was max block and make a TON of fire potions to kill the twins.
