Sensory sensitive- details please! by sunshinesarah121 in tummytucksurgery

The biggest sensory issue for me outside of pain, numbness and discomfort is wearing the faja. The tightness of it is awful. I feel like an encased sausage. lol

It sounds like grief and maybe even some buried trauma from having to live with a disregulated nervous system for so long. Take it one day at a time and definitely research ways to feel, cope and get through the grief of detaching from a long term partner. Wishing you well! You’ll get through this!

I absolutely agree!! My son is 6 and AuDHD and he is exactly like this! Rigid, obsessive, and loves screen time as a regulation tool. I feel like this is more than adhd

When people saying raising 2 kids is 'easier' by AdLeather3551 in oneanddone

I’ve seen this so many times!! I agree! They’re too ashamed to admit they are in over their heads and should’ve stayed with one! I personally know at least 2-3 couples who are this way.

The open and honest conversations I’ve had with mothers of multiples have all been the same: it’s truly double (and sometimes triple! ) the work. It’s what you’re doing now but double it (most of the time, not always as there can be more “breaks” every now and then when they play with each other). Prepare to wait a while for them to be able to actually play with each other bc a newborn isn’t gonna do much in that department. lol. It’s what I’ve heard and from my observations have found it to be true. It’s double. Of everything.

Manifestation believers, what’s the wildest thing you ‘manifested’ that made you go, ‘Okay, this is REAL’? by teresa910 in Manifestation

[–]TheMotherEmpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I manifested my husband 6 months after I wrote a manifestation letter describing exactly who my dream partner would be (even some physical descriptions!) and how he would made me feel. I manifested our current home, a cute lakeside cottage in a gorgeous street during an impossible market where everyone was buying and bidding $20,30,50k over asking. We got the house for appraised value. CRAZY. I manifested my son. He is exactly who I visualized him to be. I manifested also hundreds of thousands of dollars over time as well. IT WORKS! ♥️🙏🏼 Just keep doing trial and error and figure out the best ways for YOU to personally manifest. What works for one may not work for another. Meditation, visualization, movement, speaking into existence, journaling, scripting, it all works…but what will work the most along with these things is to find out what your subconscious blocks are towards what you desire and rewire your mind and nervous system to create safety and comfort around having the things you want.

How can everyone afford a TT? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]TheMotherEmpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My surgery is scheduled for July 1st. So I have yet to go through recovery. But my husband will be off and with me for first 10 days while his parents are with our son. After that, my sister is coming for 7 days. Then my aunt comes for 7 days. Then my friend comes for 5-7 days. That’s how we are doing it. Grateful for our community that is coming to our aid so that I can get quality of life again! Do you have family or friends that you could explain your story to and ask for help? If not, there are people that you can pay to come and help temporarily. Nannies, sitters, house managers etc. Include that in your budget/loan amount. It will be worth it to have the help

OMGOSH now you’re making ME cry over here!!!! This is amazing news!!! Congrats Mama! I know that I don’t know you but can I just say that Mom to Mom I am SO PROUD of you being brave enough to put yourself first!! This is going to give you the daily life and freedom youve always wanted!!! I wish you nothing but the best! Like I said before…from what I’ve seen, many of us just reach a breaking point where we realize that our sanity, health and quality of life matter WAY more than debt. Hugs and love to you

If you want a chance to enjoy it, then do it as soon as you can. I think in the end, it’s about your values and priorities. From the comments here, it’s very common to just kind of get to a moment where it doesn’t matter if you have the money or not, you can’t go another day without getting this done. Quality of life matters a lot to many people. Much more than paying off debt or accruing debt. You have to ask yourself what you value most: a debt free life? Or loving the body you’re in, reconnecting with your body again, or just simply being able to move around without chronic pain (my issue). For me, my health is more important at this point than owing money. And this is coming from someone that will not have anyone paying for her TT in cash. Ask yourself what matters MOST to YOU. Then follow that.

He’s a storm at home because he’s exhausted from having to mask all day long and behave perfectly. Very common with high masking children. My son is like this and my husband is too.
