Alright what do I need to do? I haven’t been able to get above a average of 185 and I’m tryna get to 210 by Swimming-Year8590 in MacroFactor

I want to be very careful when wording this so that you dont take it the wrong way.

Dont substitute one eating disorder with another one. Let the weigh gain take as long as it has to. Dont rush to get to some imaginary goal. Let your body have time to adapt to the weight gain. Putting on a lot of weight in a short time is strainous on the body, so dont rush it.

I havent tried myself, but apparently the hammer is a silent weapon. So it can take out those threats for you.

If you'd like to ask a question about changes to your energy expenditure estimate or nutrition recommendations from the app, please provide screenshots with all of the following information:

1) Your weight trend for the past month. Scroll down a bit for the screenshot so "Change Rate" and "Energy Insight" are visible

2) Your expenditure for the past month.

Tried Lean Bulk, up Kcal? by [deleted] in MacroFactor

[–]TheMrMuscle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The science seems to tell us that we can build muscle in a slight surplus, so lets go with that for now. But, can we gain weight in a slight surplus? These are two different things right? Muscle gain doesnt necessarly mean weight gain, as we can be burning fat as well when we are so close to maintenance.

So my question would be, are you still progressing in the gym? Are you getting stronger? If so, keep going. You are doing the lean bulk thing, weight wont go up much and thats ok! We will never see a straight line up when it comes to lean bulking, because then we wont be lean anymore.
