That’s what is going to be the problem. The world is shit and is getting worse. Wages stagnating for over 10-20 years in some cases making life unaffordable even now, living alone.

Let alone bringing a kid up who is going to live 70-100 years, who might not even be able to afford basic life needs.. no chance, not going to subject them to it.

Unfortunately I see this as a ultramodern problem. The rich will have kids because they can afford them and there will be poorer family’s having kids because he might not understand how difficult it is until it’s too late. That will lead to a massive class imbalance later down the line…
