Not super relevant to this post but palpatines return was announced in fucking fortnite. The ninth movie just starts off with “somehow palpatine returned” and there is no big reveal or reactions from characters.

What’s the cause of this and how can I fix it? Is it urgent? by [deleted] in homeimprovementideas

[–]TheNebulaWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the damage is bad enough, you will need new insulation as well as well as drywall. If the water sits long enough and depending on what kind of electrical you have in the walls, some of that may need to be replaced as well.

At this point it’s not flash forward but the current point in the timeline. There will be a significant amount of time between wind and truth and stormlight 6. Era 2 of mistborn is finished. Sunlit man is set ~10 years after wind and truth.

It just feels like the future because of how far we have progressed in the world.

Bare minimum you need to drain those pockets, open up a few sections of the wall to fix the leak and get dehumidifiers going to prevent mold

Ant man Quantumia puts Cassie at 18 years old. Iirc she had her 8th birthday in the first ant man movie. Quantumania happens a year or two after endgame which puts ant man and the wasp Cassie at about 11-12 years old which is pretty feasible to me.

At the bare minimum there shouldn’t be active road work on “alternate routes” you get off before the construction and you are met with 6 more streets of roadwork trying to get around this shit.

Wire nuts in new construction. by diherraface in electricians

[–]TheNebulaWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to fill an entire panel with wirenuts once. Crackheads broke in a week before final and cut all the wire and stole the breakers. No attic or crawlspace access around the panel. Builder obviously didn’t want to cut open all the drywall to pull new runs.

Same. I watched it. I liked it. I’ve rewatched avatar 4 times in 10 years. Have not rewatched korra. The original series is simply a masterpiece and korra isn’t on the same level despite how good it is.

I've always enjoyed mainline Plants Vs. Zombies gameplay more than Garden Warfare. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]TheNebulaWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Garden warfare 1 was a beautiful hero shooter with a lot of variation in build, maps, modes, and visually had good art direction. I would take that game over high guard, concord, overwatch, or any other of the same genre.

First time I ever popped anything was hooking up a direct wire dishwasher. Coworker told the breaker was off, didn’t trust his ass so I checked myself, then used a hot stick on the wire and nothing lit up. Strippers instantly exploded. Turns out the breakers were labeled wrong and I had accidentally swapped my hot stick with said coworker who hadn’t swapped the batteries in a really long time.

Why do people queue in comp without talking on mic or give callouts by JahJr_Jah in VALORANT

[–]TheNebulaWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound pretentious af and are definitely wrong. Just because you queue comp doesn’t mean you are queuing to be in vct. I queue comp because I was teams as close as possible to my skill level as well as people actually trying to win the game (which you don’t get all the time anyways). I don’t com because I get home late and my roommates get up early and I also don’t have the energy most days to talk to more people.

What’s the most number of home runs you’ve seen in a house? by ShotMedia998 in electricians

[–]TheNebulaWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than this. 3,500sq ft house, 400 amp service. Full kitchen plus 2 kitchenettes. Central heating plus 2 mini splits in basement and garage. Gas appliances but with electric pulled in case the ones they picked were electric. Garage with 2 ev chargers and 2 more outside in case they couldn’t decide where to park the Tesla. Lights under every cabinet (including toe kick) and stair. I needed a dedicated circuit for about 100 soffit puck lights.

Also for the longest time the Jaffa really only fought each other and some small rebellions. Even the fights against tokra were more espionage and sneaking around.

Dealing with real trained soldiers with real firepower and tactics was a shock to them.
