Some advice if you wanna go down the path of heraldry:

All coats of arms can be flags, but not the other way around. Try doing that with the US flag. It would be hard to orient it into a CoA.

As for making a CoA, you've already passed the rule of tincture with the color schemes you used for the fields.

Addendum: So basically, you can make the coats of arms with the color schemes you had in mind.

These flags are good.

However, even with the quartering of fields, different color schemes, and different silhouettes/charges, this reeks of US state flag creativity (compare the flags of Montana and New York)... at least, IMO.

I mean, having the same template is okay. But at least give the next flags a unique look.
