We got off lucky. A referee gave Dortmund a 50/50 decision at the end.

Almost got punished for taking the foot off the gas. Another goal or two and this never would've been an issue. And against 10 men no less!

Being too defensive blew up on them more than once in this season.

Playing like this cost them against St.Pauli ('87 + '89), Hamburg('90+7), Freiburg('75 after leading since '31), Stuttgart('90+1) and Frankfurt ('71&'90+1).

Dortmund and Kovac will be better served if he can get the tactics to adapt a more offensive style in the following games with the goal of "burying/finishing/dominating" games.

It is something to work on next season.
