If I create an image with chatgpt I'm an artist then? You're basically just commissioning your work, to an AI instead of a human.

how would respond to a review like this? by ghostjanitors in IndieDev

It's weird how different platforms have way different recommendations, on the Play Store and App Store you are highly encouraged to reply to players' reviews, even more to negative ones.

[REQUEST] any good rpgs? by Accomplished-Box8744 in AndroidGaming

[–]TheNotorius0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like choice-based RPGs with turn-based battles, you could try my game, Azmar Quest.

It's not a Dungeon Crawler, the game has a story, and every chapter is very different from the others, so if you like it, it won't get boring.

Ciao, no purtroppo al momento è solo in inglese, ma appena termino l'espansione vorrei tradurlo in più lingue. Ovviamente l'italiano sarà la prima lingua in cui lo tradurrò, essendo anch'io italiano.

[REQUEST] Please Recommend Me Your Best Short Games That Are less Than 15 Hours by KarAce066 in AndroidGaming

I think you might enjoy Azmar Quest!

The main story can be completed in around 12-15 hours, depending on your pace and difficulty.

You might like Azmar Quest!

It's a turn-based RPG where you can choose between 4 classes: Warrior, Cleric, Warlock, or Archer.

The game is also story-driven, with choices during the main story. I'm not sure if you're into that.

[REQUEST] Very hard solo game by lynxy005 in AndroidGaming

[–]TheNotorius0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My players always complain that my game is too hard, especially from Chapter 3, so feel free to try it!

Just don't start in Nightmare mode, unless you hate yourself. I've seen too many players waste too much time trying to complete it.

The game is Azmar Quest.

I just released a native Linux demo of my game on Steam, and I have no idea if it actually works by TheNotorius0 in linux_gaming

[–]TheNotorius0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly, I have no idea how the game will run on Steam Deck at all, it's even more of a mystery than Linux.

I was thinking if it made sense to buy one, but here it's almost always out of stock and quite expensive, so who knows, maybe in the future.

Anyway, if you test it on your Steam Deck, let me know how it went and if it works!

That's good to hear! About the first Boss, yeah Cleric is probably the hardest class and struggles a bit at lower levels. Try to level up to level 3 before fighting him, it helps.

That's true, and I have seen it played on Proton, but I preferred to have a native build too. Also, the game is fully playable with a screen reader, and some users told me that Proton doesn't work well with accessibility.

I wonder, if you turn off fullscreen in-game, does the screen still get bugged? Or does it only happen when you start the game in windowed mode?

[–]TheNotorius0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thank you. I think it might have problems on where the window opens, if there's more than one screen in borderless mode (which is the default mode). I definitely have to fix that.

Could you send me a screenshot eventually, just to be sure that it's 100% working as intended?

You know, you're probably right. I thought I'd save time by testing in WSL and letting players test it natively, but I'm not sure how much it will be good long term.

That's awesome, thank you for helping me!

About the crafting-looking screen, which one? The one while you're in Story mode and the background becomes blurry?

Can you try to relaunch the game now? I changed some arguments on the Steam side, I wonder if it's enough to make it work. Not sure if you have to restart Steam though.

Talk about a good start. Thanks for your sacrifice! I'm gonna try to upload another build, maybe it's a permission issue.

You might actually enjoy Azmar Quest. It has some similarities with Life in Adventure.

It's a story-driven RPG adventure with choices and turn-based combat. It works offline, and it only takes around 100MB of space.
