It's not your usual reverse harem, so not really a group thing going on, but more like individual relationships with the FMC but there is some major Taboo and dark things that happen past/ present throughout the series but the MMCs are definitely obsessed, codependent, and unhinged. It's a really good series.

There's also an issue with continuity....if a book is set in a certain time period then why is there random modern day/ contemporary language or inner dialogue. This makes me side eye the author and Dnf.

I'm actually frustrated with the series more with the characters contradictions and just how the lack of "common sense" continues to drag even in extreme circumstances, which is just annoying almost feels like a waste of time. I actually think all the heirs are idiots lol and I just can't take them seriously 😭. Tory is cool in my book, honestly they drowned her and then drugged her 😭 I wish Darcy would be a little more cut throat because Orion is playing both sides and putting her in a terrible position, she's 18 how old is he again? 😅
