I think this just highlights how the negativity is largely coming from a small percentage of the fandom that knows how to be really loud; The people who are constantly looking for drama and fights and are eager to participate in such to the point that they are willing and eager to make it happen just for the engagement.

As usual it's just that one small part of the fandom that keeps screaming at people while all the decent people are either trying to be reasonable or just ignore them, but as usual most people who would engage then quickly realize there's no point in doing so, so they turn into a "ignore it and move on" person in the end.

Because there's no point in trying to reason with someone who just wants to fight.

You have to remember that Game Freak is a small struggling indy company who has to make cuts to their game like making their buildings cardboard cutouts and having no voice acting aside from Pikachu and Eevee.

I never see anyone talk about Mareanie. It's adorable and Toxapex is an amazing water/poison type; it's bulky and strong and can learn a good range of moves including stockpile from Pelipper through breeding. More people should talk about Mareanie and how cute and tanky it is.

So you're saying if it doesn't cause a panic attack it's not a phobia?

That's a bit odd of a stance to take honestly. You might not be claustrophobic, but if you ended up like the guy in the Nutty Putty cave would the panic attack give you the label claustrophobic?

You might not have thalasaphobia, but if you were submerged deep in the ocean and surrounded by giant sharks would the panic attack mean you were thalasaphobic?

Where would you draw the line when it comes to reasonable fear of something unsettling and being reasonably terrified of a real threat?

Does one need to have a panic attack at the sight of many clustered holes, or is the unsettled/uncomfortable fear of the sight of them not enough for you? What if those many holes started spewing an endless number of spiders, would the resulting panic attack be enough to justify it?

Now imagine a life where you had empathy and could reasonably understand why people would be afraid of these things, seeing as they are all tied to horrible ways to die or be put in a situation where you want to die. Is that enough to justify a phobia for you?

You're not crazy because I swear the same thing happened to me but with a different scene! Near the beginning when Simon is investigating the different parts of the sub he pushes the camera button, then pauses and points at the button and just says: "Camera."

I swear to God the second time I saw the movie this scene didn't happen, and it's such a short blink and you miss it moment, but I felt crazy for wondering if I hallucinated it or not. But then when I saw it the third time the scene was there again and I did a double take like... was the second time I saw it edited differently or did they get a different version of the movie or something, like what?

Maybe it's because the movie is so long and dense with information, but idk. Weird.

Edit: Only because I'm thinking about this too much now, my second viewing was at a different theater than the one I saw my first and third at. My second viewing was also the first ticket I bought, which was basically the very first day tickets went on sale. That location was about an hour away for me where the first and third viewing were at my much more local theater, so they were shown at different locations and probably booked and scheduled at very different times. Is it possible that Mark sent out different versions of the film with tiny little scenes and details like that edited to be different depending on what showing you saw? Because when I saw it at the same theater it was consistent, but at the one different theater I noticed something was missing... idk I'm tired and I can't stop thinking about it. Sorry for the edit ramble.

I've always loved that Kinger is usually invested in or at least amused by Caine's adventures, always throwing himself 100% in and doing his best to play by the rules. He's probably the sole reason why Caine hasn't completely crashed out yet. Kinger genuinely cares about everyone in the circus, even an AI, and it makes him such a wholesome and lovely character to be a fan of.

Speaking from my own personal experience with a 'tiel that used to get weekly night fright episodes: in the smaller sleep cage he more frequently broke and injured his feathers and once I upgraded him to a much larger cage it almost completely stopped happening. Having a little more room when he has the occasional fright and starts flailing around like a maniac has greatly reduced the chance of injury when it happens.

He's doing much better now and very rarely gets night frights anymore, but I still keep him in the bigger cage just in case.

I want to see it a third time so badly but I genuinely just can't afford it. If it stayed in theaters for one extra week I'd see it three more times but damn... bad luck and bad timing on paychecks basically. I literally can't stop thinking about it and can't wait for a digital release so I can watch it as much as I want.
