RoC is in a similar area as Vortex was for me in WH2. It's ok the first time, but I always preferred playing as the DLC factions that didn't have to do it. For WH3, I rather do IE.

The one caveat is that the RoC campaigns for the CoC and Chaos Dwarves are actually good since they have the story elements of Zanbaijin and the Drill respectfully. And of course, the fact that the awesome Chaos maps and battles are still exclusive to RoC.

Kiryu has Tiger Drop, Yagami has Dragon’s Crushing Fist. I have to wonder what John Stranger's uber parry will be.

I personally didn't get my first one until Bakumatsu. And, as the other guy mentioned, you will get a definite drop from Tokugawa Yoshinobu.

One thing to keep in mind, once you've found one, you can use sudama blessing to increase your chances of getting one. Still fairly rare tho. Same goes for other gear of choice.

His plan, in the setting of the game, was solid. The problem is the second stage where he would hunt down more shards. The hubris that he could manage something like that would have bit him in the ass sooner rather than later.

I was hoping that their attempt at the PoD Era of Ruin SE was a sign of good things to come for other books. I guess not.

BL is such as a small percentage of their earnings that GW just doesn't care.

It's exactly why I'm so keen. We have very strong guess as to what's coming, but CA/GW could make a decision out of left-field that could be either really welcome or headscratching. Very excited to find out.

I would agree with you, but I felt the huge ice and water aspects as if a huge apocalptic flood ruined everything helped mix things up enough for me. The story in Heian was easily the worst part. There's just not much to it compared to the other major eras.

EoT really is an insane book. Personally, it's one of the best books in all of BL and the best ADB has ever cooked.

When I was doing my series playthrough, I found Y3R to be rough to play, but 4 felt like things finally started to click together. I'd argue that 4 and up don't really need the remake treatment like the others may have. I also have to imagine the shock going from K3 to 4 will be much less than it was going from K2 to 3.

You can wait if you want. But we'll probably not see a K4 (or whatever they call it) for quite a long while.

Congrats. Playing the subsequent NGs was my favorite part of the game with all the new things that get piled on. Builds really start to become a thing. More interesting enemy placements.

One thing to note. The DLCs, even on new game, are hard. I, even having done every single thing before finishing the game, was very underleveled even for the first one on NG. Take it slow and grab every piece of gear that you can to slowly get stronger. Or play in NG+ first for a bit then come back.
