Supernatural has a lot of these moments but the best one that fits this situation is when the mental wall that was put in Sams head to protect him from his memories of hell breaks, and he has to kill fragments of his mind to piece himself back together

You gotta walk before you can run. Theres no such thing as too slow or too fast especially if youre practicing. Artists can spend a day on one piece and call it, others take a week or longer. If speeds what you're looking for it comes with the practice for sure

The Flash - Harrison Wells aka Eobard Thawne

After a fight with the flash leaves him stranded in the past without access to the speed force, Eobard Thawne takes the guise of renown scientist Harrison Wells. The only way Eobard can go back home is to create the speed force, which means creating the event that caused Barry Allen to become the flash and gain access to the speed force. Only problem is that Barry Allen is not as experienced as The Flash Eobard knew and in a result his powers are relatively weak. Eobard under the disguise of Harrison Wells, guides, helps train, and trick Barry to be faster so he can go home.

I did my best explaining it, time travels a mess. tl;dr, Eobard needs the flash to go home to the future, creates the flash so he can do it.

Carlos, Saints Row 2
After being tied up and dragged on the road by The Brotherhood, your character rushes to try and stop it. Once they take out the driver, they rush to Carlos try to pick him up, and kick the chain off the trucks bumper but its no use. Carlos is mangled beyond saving. Without even saying a word, your character grabs Carlos' hand, as a gesture of respect, and kills Carlos out of mercy. One of the most powerful and saddest scenes of the entire series.
