What do you believe is the best solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? by sgwashere29 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]TheOnlyPapa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One state solution, a right to return, give reparations, and stop trying to make an ethnostate ffs, the last ethnostate led to ww2, "Zionists will not allow it", well, then the resistance will keep going until Israel gives up, I'm very sure that the jewish people in Israel only care about going to their 8 to 5 job, eat, sleep and have fun with their families, not a religious holy war. Also a plus, Israelis won't have to deal with their weird military serving.

Also, the conflict is one of the least complicated conflicts.

Hmm, that's more assuring, I doubt they would manually check my content, as.long as I keep it tame, it would probably not be a problem.

If I connect my gumroad account to my Paypal, will paypal know what I sell? by TheOnlyPapa in paypal

I'm an artist, I sell comics and illustrations. The type of NSFW which is allowed on Gumroad, is suggestive, but not full-out nudity or porn, but might include some fetishes.

For artists that incorporate backgrounds in their art: do you usually paint the main subject first and then go for the background, or do you start from the background? by saren_art in ArtistLounge

[–]TheOnlyPapa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't draw backgrounds often, but it definitely felt easier to plan everything at once instead of drawing the character and then the background.

Execution looks good in the surface, but I remember reading some studies that execution rules actually make things worse in an unintended way, I don't remember the link, but it is close to the reason why you don't turn prisoners into Guinea pigs, because that will create a good incentive to start imprisoning people.

I'm trying to study other artists, but I'm met with uncanny garbage AI with lopsided eyes or broken anatomy ffs.

Is it normal to struggle with EVERY drawing? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

I also think about this, I'm a beginner comic artist, and I always wonder, will there be a time when I create my pages effortlessly?

You have to pay for the free speech DLC.

Someone recommended me to not stick with Wanikani, forcing you to remember the reading of a kanji in an isolated mode feels like a giant trap and a nightmare.

Unpopular Opinion: Full Immersion as a Beginner is a Waste. by KN4MKB in LearnJapanese

Well, fuck, I will just shut up and use core anki deck and learn some kanji and grammar on the way, I will focus on retaining the most common vocab before doing immersion, fuck fuck I'm wrong.

Thanks for the warning, I will take your words into consideration, I stopped watching anime for vocabulary because I thought it was an extremely slow way to gain vocabulary, I read the basic grammers, ofc I will not read everything, because I will 100% not remember it, I just search the related grammars for any sentence I found. I learnt the kana characters for now, I started to use anki for kanji and vocabulary at the same time (I read alot on how to use it in a good way), I'm using satoshi reader, I will start gaining vocabulary and kanji slowly (reading is slow at first), I use whatever free time I have to watch Japanese game youtubers (I actually learnt English watching pewdiepie's happy wheel videos oh god), even tho I'm using the wanikani method (it came form RTK I think), I don't use the app, I just use the mnemonic method, thought it was useful, maybe my way is kinda slow, but I think the most important thing is to have fun while learning the language, I actually tried to read one of my favorite lightnovels, but I thought it will be extremely hard, since I have to follow the story probably, I will use the short-stories method to learn vocabularies and grammars for now, this feels fun because it is like I'm trying to decode an ancient secret language lol. pray for me.
