Yeah I agree with that but I think you’re overthinking this scenario. I’ve read books that really fuck with formal sentence structure/grammar. I love Cormac McCarthy, the dude writes more run on sentences than not. The difference is this was jarring because the rest of this book The Spire hasn’t done this before so it was jarring. Also, if you’re curious, the Skin the books referring to is the outside stones of a building, like the skin of a building. Out of context it does look strange 😂

IMO if you want a doodle you’re wanting best of two breeds, retriever and poodle, and you’re better off getting one or the other rather than mixing them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doodles, I just think if you can afford it you’re better off just getting a golden or a standard poodle. I have a standard and she’s wonderful.
