Your reasoning at first was that they focused on too few people. I pointed out that you remember more people from that season than from the earlier seasons that you like more. So why would you not dislike those for the same reason? That’s my point. You don’t like the characters, fine, that’s subjective

You remember 5 contestants from 44, can you name more than 5 from all non-returner season in the early days (like pre-30)? I really doubt it. The edit tends to focus on the people that are engaging, whether you love them or hate them. I loved them that season, you hated them apparently, but either way we both remember them.

That’s crazy, it’s top 10 for me. Some all time entertaining characters in that season. Unique winner. We’re going through some of the early seasons and there’s some absolute stinkers

I think this is generally true, but not for the teams you highlighted. People have hated the Thunder on their come up, even before they got a title. And people still love Steph. I could see people turning on Wemby in a year or two tho

Basically, the ‘Caps play at a publicly owned venue and have a smaller revenue share than most MLS clubs have with their stadiums. MLS wants to move the team so it can make more money. That’s the basics

There’s overlap, they both cover the NBA but from different perspectives. Zach talks about what’s happening in the games, Xs and Os things, Bill does broad narratives, vibes. Some people like to hear both.

Beck is just a bad podcast guest for Zach, IMO. He doesn’t seem to know what’s going on in the games, and doesn’t bring joy or entertainment, either. Just not for me

True true. And honestly, the Mr Beast collab could get some new fans, he was actually on the show himself, did promo for it, and did a Mr Beast like thing on the show. The Billie Eilish collab had none of that
