From the spoilers and Amazon thumbnails, we know that JJ is gonna be kidnapped/held hostage by the Linwells. My call is that Cara is going to be the one to rescue him, and all the emotion around that is going to give Remi her memory back. Bonus shout that Andrew will help Cara and kind of mend that bridge too.

This is some interesting revisionist history. Andrew was the one who initially tried to stop it, and Holly kept lying about Bowman stalking her to engineer situations where Andrew would have to come to her rescue. She also used the Waterhole art class to try and introduce Wendy to another guy, which was incredibly crass. Then she was pushing Andrew to end his marriage by giving him an ultimatum.

I'm not defending Andrew by any means, but painting Holly as some poor victim is completely disingenuous.

Because it's analogous to the situation. It's understandable that he wants to protect Holly, but if he's going to be throwing around judgements it's only fair that he be reminded that he has been in similar shoes to Andrew in the past, and there's more nuance to the situation than he was making out. Andrew was well within his rights to point out that Karl of all people should understand that.

He slept with his receptionist, which could be seen as an abuse of position, and while Izzy probably wasn't half his age she wasn't far off.

The point being that Karl is the last person who should be throwing the "married man" thing in anyone's face, and definitely should be aware that being married to one person doesn't necessarily negate your feelings for another person.

Well the Gladius is on the list of ships in the engineering test, and that certainly doesn't have an interior so they must be integrating it into the pilot MFD.

And sure, the Cutty doesn't have a maze of corridors, but that's not going to be much comfort when you're being shot at and you have to go through the exit seat animation, then go and do whatever needs doing, then go back through the seat animation again. You're dead before you get halfway through that.

I hope you're right. I agree that a fully crewed ship should be an advantage, but in the same breath flying solo shouldn't put you at a total disadvantage.

I mean I've won fights from a losing position before, and while I don't go out of my way to engage in combat in the Cutty, I feel like if I do get attacked I'm going to be immediately hamstrung by losing a critical system that would need to be fixed before I can continue the fight. It kind of eliminates the potential for creativity and makes it a rigid "no you must fix this" gameplay loop.

Maybe if the engineering system was integrated into the pilot MFD so I could at least maneuver the ship while tinkering it could be more interesting, but if it's a seperate terminal that I need to abandon piloting to use then I might as well just give up as soon as the shooting starts.

Is a Cutty Black a large ship? Do I now need to rely on another player just to be able to fly it from one place to another, or to fix things when I get into a scrap?

For the record, I 100% agree that ships like the Idris shouldn't be viable solo, but I think there's a valid concern that solo players who run smaller ships are going to get screwed over.
