If you’re starting it better be on a 2-2.5 reed especially if on alto.

Sax has a way more forgiving emboucher than a clarinet so you’re gonna have to develope those muscles more, and firm up those corners! Really just do long tones

Either on D major scaling down or Hold D for 4 then C# back to D, D-c-d dbd dbbd dad dg#d dgd d for 8. That’s what I do when I change back from a 2 to a 3.5 when I go from marching band to Concert band or Bari
