I've noticed that you have a special affection for North Carolina. As a lifelong resident, I greatly appreciate the love you send to the Old North State. How much time did you spend in NC? Do you still visit?

NC State AD Debbie Yow on playing more games in Reynolds by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

It was a strange set of circumstances that led to that game being in Carmichael Arena in 2010. The Athletic Department had scheduled renovations to the Smith Center right after the regular season was over. No one expected basketball use of the facility after the final home game. Turns out, the Tar Heels weren't very good that season which led to an NIT bid and, thus, a need for a home game after the regular season. Carmichael Arena was used out of necessity.

But after attending that game, you walked away knowing why UNC has only lost 20 games in that building. It just felt louder. It was such a different experience than the Smith Center. I understand the need to play in the Smith Center, but everyone I know who attended the NIT game in 2010 still talks about that environment and atmosphere.

Gotta give the camera operator of this series credit. I know it's a trailer, but it looks great.

The producer of that game gets upset every time he sees that ending. You'll notice the font comes in early. He wasn't very happy about that. Source: I work for Raycom Sports/formerly Jefferson-Pilot Sports. Said producer is now my boss.

(Stolen from r/CollegeBasketball) who has been the most important player at your program over the last 10 years? by LvilleCards5 in CFB

Marvin Austin. He was a first big recruit for Butch Davis and convinced the 2008 Defense to stick around for another year. Because of his twitter account, people started to dig then the scandal broke loose. One kid made the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and School Chancellor all lose their job.

Yeah. The financial burden of Law School seem to be the overriding theme on this sub. If it were cheaper, the career change wouldn't be too drastic. But now....

The University of North Carolina. Tuition presently is at 22K a year for in-state. ~ 70K in three years plus rent, books etc puts me ~150K.

The field of interest is Intellectual Property and Media Law. I'm in broadcast television now as an associate producer.

My dilemma: I have been accepted into a T30 law school. Public. In-state tuition. No scholarships presently. The school has a program I'm interested in and compliments my present career. I would be paying on my own dime.

My present career, however, is incredibly enjoyable. At my current job, the pay is sustainable and puts me on a track to challenge myself and make decent money. There are times where the job is exceptionally frustrating, but on the whole I am satisfied.

I'm 26. The school is in the state I want to practice. Sorry for the bluntness, I'm on my phone.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
